If they need an archivist, I'd be willing to take the job for free, in exchange for being allowed to come to the vaults anytime to screen episodes to myself and being given free copies of a few full episodes and rare skits, and maybe to be allowed to provide input on Sesame Street video...
And also, Cheech Marin voiced both a chihuahua and a hyena. And both Cheech and Chong were in Ferngully (with Robin Williams).
It is interesting, I know that Robin Williams has been in a number of R-rated movies, but I don't associate him as an R-rated star. I think he's done just as many...
When Batman was canceled, NBC almost picked up the show.
If NBC went through with picking up the show, then it wouldn't have been on the "same Bat channel".
There's one option I have thought of, and I can't remember if I've expressed this idea on the forum or not. I think I thought it up around the time that the online video player debuted, but maybe it'd be good if they did a few digital-only compilations, with no new footage.
Maybe make them...
Really? He didn't remember having to fly all the way to England?
Would "wanting to fight censorship" (or at least ridiculous censorship) be a legitimate enough reason to be shockingly offensive?
Well, we didn't know about this special until we heard that the Muppets were doing a special...
I've noticed that the last few weekends haven't had any new posts. I wonder what's going on there. I could see it being because there weren't any articles sent (besides articles that have to be on certain days of the week, like The Great Muppet Survey and Weekly Muppet Wednesday), but there's a...
The main image on most YouTube videos is a still from that video, but there is a good number of videos where the main video image is a special image, not in the video (or maybe it uses some stills from the video but also has stuff not in the video). Does anybody know how to make the main image a...
Actually I remember hearing about some of the 40th anniversary stuff a year in advance. The 40th anniversary book was announced around the same time as Street Gang was announced (though I know Michael Davis spent five years working on Street Gang, could that have been announced sooner and I just...
Caroll Spinney shot home movie footage for Follow That Bird, as well as many other things he worked on, and I assumed he never had any intention on getting it released (at least it'll be shown in the I Am Big Bird documentary).
I know there hasn't been any official announcements regarding any kind of 45th anniversary DVD release (heck, so far there hasn't even been any official confirmation that the 45th anniversary will be celebrated at all), but if there is, it'd be an interesting parallel. After the second volume...
I wonder if there's any way of knowing how well Volume 3 did.
I noticed that it only said Old School Volume 4 wouldn't be released this season, as opposed to there being no current plans to release it at all. Then again, I don't know how you communicated (by phone, in person, e-mail) or if...
I don't think that would be a problem. After all, Warner Brothers owns The Witches and the Red Book has had a number of articles relating to that.
And besides, this website has info on a lot of Henson projects and guest appearances that are owned by various companies. I think the Red Book...
No, never the Gorgs. Though I didn't watch much Fraggle Rock until I was 8, at that point I saw less stuff that scared me to the point of being unable to watch without fastforwarding or turning the volume down all the way (though I did continue to do so with a lot of stuff that scared me like...
I don't think I was ever scared of any Fraggle Rock moments. As a kid both the Muppets and Sesame Street had things that scared me, or at least I didn't like (to the point that I wouldn't watch them with the sound on... I'd have to mute the TV or fast forward though them), but not Fraggle Rock.
Is it just me, or has the Red Book been repeating articles/things that have been noted on the site? Lately it seems like it brings back one-line dates that had been noted in the past, sometimes with an article when it didn't have one the first time, sometimes with more information. In fact a few...
