Well, as I say, he wasn't too keen on doing Ghostbusters II, and he hasn't really done a mainstream all-out comedy in about ten years, so...who knows? He's going to be in the new Get Smart movie.
I was thinking that myself. What was the last true, goofy comedy Bill Murray was in? Was it The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997)? He's been doing a lot of "arty" films since then, such as Hamlet (the ultra-modern one with Ethan Hawke; Murray was Polonius), Lost in Translation, The Life Aquatic...
Wow, that jalopy of yours is the bees' knees! What's say you and me drive down to the soda fountain, have a coupla sarsparellas, and do the Lindy Hop till the cows come home, my little chickadee!
Fred: All you got to do is enlist Esther in the navy. That way, you can have her face buried at sea!

Bubba (to Esther): What do you know about the Mortician's Digest?
Fred: She posed for the centerfold!

Fred: Esther, what...
Is Dan Aykroyd writing it?
Last I heard, Aykroyd had a script for a third live-action Ghostbusters film. Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson were interested, but Bill Murray was the only hold out. I think Aykroyd was trying to get Murray for at least a cameo.
There's a "Best of" Match Game set out. I would probably buy that instead of a season-by-season set. I mean, I love the show and all, but I think a sampling of various episodes is sufficient.
Definitely. Besides, no one could call Lamont "dummy" quite like Red Foxx. Foxx had a poetic, almost Shakespearean way of hurling insults at those around him.:D
Oh, speaking of Rosebud...you know the scene where Bobo the teddy bear somehow ends up at historic moments in history? The writers planned to have Bobo accompany JFK in his motorcade in Dallas, but that idea was ultimately scrapped.
Speaking of The Honeymooners...
When it (briefly) ran in theaters, it was rated PG-13. When it was released on DVD, it was re-edited for a PG. There was no alternative. There was only a PG-rated version available, with no explanation of why or what the reason was for the rating change. Weird.
And then there are the ones that laid an egg...
The Avengers
The Beverly Hillbillies
Bewitched
Dudley Do-Right
The Dukes of Hazzard
The Honeymooners
Inspector Gadget
Leave It to Beaver
Lost in Space
The Mod Squad
My Favorite Martian
Starsky & Hutch
Thunderbirds
Wild Wild West
