Heehee...I love your new avvy, Katie!:)
I didn't know what it was at first...it kinda looked like Peanuts, but I didn't recognize the characters. Peanuts as Zep! How awesome!:D
Really? That's kinda lame if you're a fan (and you don't own the DVDs). Until this fall, my Fox stations showed The Simpsons four times a night (all different episodes) between 6 and 7:30, five days a week. Now one of the stations is showing some lame new papparazzi-type show in one of the...
Yeah, it's great that Fox is starting from the very beginning. I don't have the season 1 set, but I forgot how funny "Bart the Genius," and several other eps., such as "Bart the General" and "Moaning Lisa" (at least the subplot where Homer tries to beat Bart at a boxing video game) were!
I'm not a big fan of judge shows...eventually they all blur together for me. I really can't tell the difference between one or the other at this point.
But I have to say, I did find Mills Lane amusing...in small doses, lol!
Heh, everytime I see the title of this thread, I think of that scene in Billy Madison, with Adam Sandler.
Billy (singing in a childlike voice):
Back to school
Back to school
To prove to dad I'm not a fool.
I got my lunch packed up
My boots tied tight
I hope I don't get in a fight.
Ohhh...
Wow, your brother sure is a true hero, Kathy!:)
Heralde, I'm so sorry about your friend. He was a true hero as well.:)
And yes, the 9-11 front page was very classy, and a wonderful tribute! Thank you, mods!:)
Really? Jim went after the Beatles to appear on TMS? Interesting!:D I know during the first season of SNL, Lorne Michaels appealed to them on air to come and do that show. Supposedly Paul was visiting John in New York at the time, and the two almost hopped a cab and went to the studio, but...
Yeah, I don't think the Muppets ever covered "Imagine." Come to think of it, have they ever covered a solo Beatle's song?
But I could be wrong, as I have been many, many many times before!;)
