So "healthier" is cool (at least to the kids and teens watching)?
On another subject, has anybody noticed that during World War II, a lot of animated studios (and I really only know about the ones from Disney and WB, and to a lesser extent MGM) made shorts attacking the enemy soldiers...
Stoller said that one of his Muppet movie ideas involves Kermit and Miss Piggy getting married. Not sure if I like that idea as the whole plot for a movie, but it reminds me of how in Jim Henson: The Biography, Jerry Juhl suggested an idea for a movie about Miss Piggy being pregnant, and Henson...
Recently, I saw this old Sunny Delight commercial again after many years...
And what's up with "purple stuff" among the drinks in the fridge? I know they couldn't use actual brands, but "purple stuff"? That's just kinda funny. They couldn't have said "grape juice" or "purple soda" or...
There's an old prank where somebody'll say "loser say what" a few times fast, so that the other person will say "what?" and then the one saying "loser say what" will shout "LOOSER!" But then the one saying "loser say what" is technically already saying what in order to trick the other into...
Regarding worst video game sequels, I'll say that Pac-Man 2 is my least-favorite Pac-Man sequel. Though I liked it a lot better when I was younger. But it's problems are pretty much what Drtooth summed up, with one thing he didn't mention: The gliding part is too frustratingly hard. I've...
I've only seen a small amount of direct-to-video Disney sequels, and of the ones I've seen, the only one I really don't like is The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.
Most of the few Disney DTV sequels I've seen are ones that don't have "reputations" for being awful, but also, there's quite a few...
Well, Tiny Toons was a different title than Looney Tunes. I don't remember thinking of it as being like Looney Tunes before seeing it.
Then again, Taz-Mania hardly had any new Looney Tunes characters besides Taz, and I really like that show. And outside of Taz-Mania I find the Tasmanian...
Something I recently noticed: The entry for Foo-Foo mentions that Foo-Foo has siblings named Oui-Oui, Poo-Poo, Num-Num, Goo-Goo, and Fred. A variant of the name Fred is Freddie, and on The Jim Henson Hour, the Foo-Foo puppet was named Freddie in the Fashion Doll Channel sketches. I wonder if...
I just found some of the old commercials with Chuck and Bobby. I had been looking for them a few years ago, and now I found them (and see that they have been online since 2012... Should have kept looking).
I did also think of that possibility, reading fan fiction and being unable to remember whether it was fan fiction or people writing about actual scenes.
Back when the 40th anniversary was happening, I felt like there should have been three special character-based releases: One focusing on the main characters ("The Best of Friends" that came out later is pretty much the same idea), one focusing on old school supporting characters like Sherlock...
I don't really want to turn this thread into a thread about Super Mario Bros., but I feel like the "New Super Mario Bros." series doesn't have much difference between each other, while the classic NES trilogy (counting american SMB 2 instead of the Japanese one) and Super Mario World do have...
I have seen the main screen like that before, though not in awhile. It didn't bother me too much because I usually go straight to the forum. Though I also had this problem if I wanted to read anything on Muppet Central outside of the forums (like interviews, articles, guides).
