What we need is another movie movie. That is to say another movie that is a take on some classics of the past. GMC was a classic "who done it?" movie. TMM was a classic on the rode typew movie. MTM was a classic broadway type movie (kind of like singing in the rain). They tried the whole...
Well I don't think there is ever a floor seen in the shot, unless it's done like that picture where the performer is in a trch like space and the floor is seen in the back ground. It's all an illusion really. I've never seen a floor during a Chef skit.
I believe the "retired" characters are being brought back because JHC finally realized you can't retire characters left and right every time a performer dies or retires. So many characters were retired or on the way out by the time MT came along that they had to basically create an entire group...
Yeah, I think it's pretty realistic that Doc threw them away. Besides, he probably lived there a really long time and knew there was no Gobo Fraggle that lived there before him.
Ot was him. He's been the only one to perform Waldorf since Jim Henson's death, except for some guy that performed him in the back ground during the Jim Hensom Tribute special. But that guy never spoke.
You're info is a bit wrong.
Jerry and Nelson are not too different people. The man's name is Jerry Nelson. He originaly p[ayed Statler in the Muppet Show Sex and Violence pilot. When season 1 of The Muppet Show came along, Jerry was busy for many epsiodes so the role was taken over by...
That new pic is a digital rendering. It is like the series 9 Fozzie that was shown. The final product looked a lot worse than the Fozzie we were shown. The same could be true with Ernie which would be very sad. I would rather they not release the digital stuff.
Wow. Gonzo's story was similar, though I can see why they chose to leave out the whole chopping off of limbs part. I like the robot thing, as it is basically what the tin man was anyway.
I guess with all the back story behind the characters in the book it is pretty difficult to fit it all...
What recasts were done for this movie that were not done before it?
Sam probably didn't have a large part because he wasn't needed. In fact he really doesn;t have a part in the movies. He had a smaller part at the start of TMM and some lines in GMC and only a cameo in MTM. In MCC he had a...
You say you've studied the book. I was wondering if Gonzp's story fits with the book. Was the original Tin Man a man turned into a tin man by the withc as well?
Dave has been a huge part in every production. He appeared as Gonzo and Waldorf on AFV with plenty of screen time and he appeared on GMA during one of their appearances as Gonzo and Waldorf again. He's certainly active. The only reason he might not be the one making the rounds is because it...
Actually Dave is about 60. Chances are he will retire in 10 years or less.
Steve is only about 45 and should be around for another 25 years or less. I base my predictions on Jerry's retierment age since he is really the only performer to retire. I do not count Frank Oz because he retired...
Starting in MTM, or around that time, Fozzie started to look too goofy. We have had this same design for decades now. His ears no longer stick out which really makes him look poorly constructed and stupid. At the end of MWoO we saw his ears sticking out again though and it really made an huge...
I'm not sure if OScar went through various colors of green of if it is just the quality of film/tape over they ears. Probably both. Each time a puppet is rebuilt, sometimes a shade of color will change.
AVMMC was great. I would not call it a flop. I owuld say it was the best new production, especialy cosidering it was the first time I heard Eric doing Frank's characters. I watch it just to hear his Fozzie and Piggy and to see Scooter back after awahile. Having Fozzie and Piggy interacting...
