I'm reminded of Meg in the Phantom of the Opera. In the movie version, it seems obvious to me that she loves the Phantom on first sight...and yet she never gets to meet him, because he is in love with Christine who ultimately rejects him.
I like to think that Meg went after him...
Choose: Jon Voight (Yes, he's annoying, and he's appeared in every movie ever made...but on the other hand, he's annoying and has appeared in every movie ever made! And is the kind of guy who would just make a cameo, and make it memorable (since he's the only thing I remember from Gili...)...
Hmmm...I can see Grodin in the movie...but it wouldn't make sence (cannonically) for him to actually be Nicky Holiday...
If you want character acting, I'd love to see Geoffrey Rush as a badguy...Or as a cameo.
Hehe...yes, I did realise it was her...but that scene annoys me greatly, now that it's cut, because it lacks the poiniency of the song and is just pointless and annoying. Also, I was almost joking.
Gonzo and Kermit currantly have their backs to each other, sat on an ornamental table which is sat on my desk, so they are right above me right now.
Beau
Thought I'd go through all the movies, as some people have, so...
TMM Best: As I said, El Sleezo owner.
TMM Worst: Bob Hope
GMC Best: John Cleese (or the man beside the pond "Looks like it's raining bears and frogs..."
GMC Worst: Hard to find someone bad in this, but, let's say the truck...
As the famed 'typer' of Kermit's autobiography (which Kermit oooobviously wrote), and the thrower-together of fun-lines, jokes, and ideas for Muppet interviews, and generally being Muppety-spokesfrog...Jim Lewis deserves a thread of his own in which we can chat about him, besides his "Ask a Jim"...
Classic example, JaniceAndMokey'sMan...always pictured him as a purple/pink guy with Janice stood beside him...ish...Yeah...I'm stranger than the next guy...
Also, was it Richard Hunt that was making that saying popular? It was used as the "slogon" of his appreciation threads...
Hmm...to be honest I didn't take issue with any of the designs. Obviously, as baloons, they are going to be adjusted slightly and puffier than usual (except in Piggy's case maybe, little joke there...). I'd buy any of them any day if I could :p
I agree. It would make a fantastic poster. Or a brilliant Biography cover. Which reminds me, is there a proper Jim Henson biography book? How can I have missed it if there is?
*laughs* It would be cool if they were frooozen! But I'm sure that's what you were getting at :p
Hehe.
Bea:zany:{Or you could just use them as marbles and leave them on the floor outside her door ala Home Alone(a)}regard
If I may, briefly, defend that John Cleese scene...I laugh so hard everytime I see it. And the reason is, because it's as true as the day is blue. If it was just by itself it would be just strange, but because it was coupled with Piggy climbing up the outside of the building...hilarious, truely.
