I said "often", not "every time". I became closer to people like @Froggy Fool and @Pig's Laundry and stuff on Discord, but I can't promise the same for everyone. Each person is unique.

The Discord and the forums have coexisted quite nicely. Being on one doesn't mean giving up the other, but you can often become closer thanks to the more rapid Discord than on here. Try it out for a week. It's free, if you don't like it, no questions asked.

2018 had some real bad moments but as a whole I look on it rather fondly. The good outweighs the bad. I made a ton of new friends, my music listening shot up, I found my favorite album, and I actually had a good time in Germany. I enjoyed it for the most part, my panic attack / depression...
