Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

As I had promised, "The Superman at the End of this Story.";) Epilogue While Bugs and Daffy had taken Lefty and the Sleazes to the ACME prison, the Mystery Inc. gang had returned to Metropolis with their friends from Foster’s and Sesame Street, only to discover news about Superman...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

The final chapter.:) Chapter Thirteen The super-powered Mystery Inc. gang couldn’t believe how unusual the “Phantom Zone” version of Earth was. All of the countries outside the U.S. were bizarrely rearranged; Asia was where Africa should’ve been, and Hawaii had been replaced with...

    Aaah! Guess what?

Hey, that's great! Hope you get to ride on MuppetVision 3D more than five times.:) I haven't been to Disney World in two years, which is okay, considering that I've been there enough times to bore me. I guess you can say that I'm taking a break from going, just to build up the excitement of...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Chapter Twelve When Fred opened his eyes after spending an unknown amount of time being unconscious, he was surprised to see that he was no longer inside the Fortress of Solitude, but somewhere outside. He was thankful enough that he was still in the Arctic; but it just puzzled him that he...

I like that scene, too. And Richard White didn't like it when she smoked also.:D

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

I've done everything that I wanted my characters to do that'll lead up to the exploration of the "Phantom Planet", so now all that's left is what the planet's all about and how our heroes are going to stop it. There are probably only two more chapters left before the epilogue, and then...

    Superman Returns

There are a lot of references to the first and second movies in Superman Returns, like the interview that Lois had with him in the first one and Supes' famous line after rescuing her from a crashing helicopter: "Flying is the safest way to travel.":)

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Now there's another good one.:) I can tell you this much about the SS/Batman Begins story: it'll be a prequel to this "Sesame, DC" story, telling how Count von Count and Oscar the Grouch got to meet Bruce Wayne and his alter ego, Batman. And I'm honored that my Muppet/Superhero crossover...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Thanks for the correction, Count. People say I'm good at writing stories, but my grammar is almost worst than Lois Lane's spelling.:) And you don't have to see the movie, if you don't want to. Just don't let the critics keep you from seeing it (they're not right all the time--look at 2005's...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

I know, but my program won't let me do it like that.:smirk: Yeah, I figured no one would like that part (and that was the big mystery about Carmen that I was talking about); but there's a reasonable explanation for it in the upcoming chapters, which will be a lot more screwy than the recent...

    Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

Happy Fourth of July, America!!:) As Sam the Eagle would say, "It is indeed a good day to feel proud to be an American!":attitude: Don't have many plans except watching the Twilight Zone marathon on The Sci-Fi Channel, eating BBQ, and watching fireworks (that is, if it doesn't rain).:D

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Happy Fourth of July, MC!!!:) Chapter Eleven Ever since Superman returned, Super Grover—who assured the city of Metropolis that he would always be there to protect it from danger (something he had yet to do, due to spending more attention reciting his monologues)—couldn’t help but to...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Thanks for pointing that all out, Count.:) The plan is to turn the three into super-powered men, just like Superman. They realize that with the vast Kryptonian technology that they assume they'll find on the new planet in their possession, they could possibly transform mere mortals into...

Sesame, DC: The Superman at the End of This Story

Chapter Ten Outside the city of Metropolis, there was a nicely established manor nestled in the countryside; none other than the greatest thief of all time, Carmen Sandiego, owned both it and the property surrounding it. Only a day after their encounter in Smallville, Lefty and the Sleaze...

    Kermit's Lecture on Cooperation

Nice job.:) It really makes a perfect SS skit that Grover and Kermit could've done back then. Or did they?

Sept 17th the Last Night of the WB

They say Michigan J. Frog (the WB mascot) had "died" on July 22, 2005 and hadn't been used by the WB ever since. However, there's only one local station that still uses him in the logo, and that's (ironically) the one in my hometown.:)

Sept 17th the Last Night of the WB

But your basic cable does include UPN, doesn't it? They say that the CW will be airing on whatever local station you have operating for the WB or UPN, replacing either of the two.

    Superman Returns

Yeah, they've started production on it a long time ago and now completed. The movie is called "Hollywoodland", and it's going to be released on September 8th. It also stars Adrian Brody, Diane Lane, and Bob Hoskins. I haven't heard that song by Don McLean, but I ought to download it online...
