So am I the only one who *didn't* think that Letters to Santa was too short? I feel that if it had gone on much longer we'd have at some point realised that the Muppets were delivering letters to Santa. As it was, it went by really fast and we had several options followed like the pigeons and...
Father: Oh good, love's true flame conquers all. Sheesh...Jana! This is why you should never have two and a half boyfriends, understand? If I ever catch you...bursting into flames...I am really gunna have to have words...*sprinklers go off, soaking father in bed*
Father: Quick! Use these damp sheets to put her out! *half leaping off the bed to throw them at her* Or...maybe just find something else. *pulls sheets back around self*
Father: You're right...this stays between us...*grabs covers* As do these. *peering at the door* Who are those two gentlemen diving up and down the stairs?
Father: Oh good, more breakfast company...At least, I hope they brought breakfast. Jack, you seem to have acquired a bruise the size of an egg...did you also bring any eggs?
Father: *to Jana* You can't beat people up! One, it's not right. And two, you're too small! And three, if you weren't too small it still wouldn't be right! And four...looks like we don't have to go down to fight, they're coming up.
Hmm...yeah, I guess. I do trust the director. He did well with Mission Impossible, and usually concentrates on character rather than explosions. (Note how he barely even showed the monster in Cloverfield!) From what I've heard, there is a semi-decent storyline...
I just don't see the point in...
Father: And I'm just now trying to figure out when you said you didn't if you meant you did and weren't going to tell me or whether you actually didn't and did think that you would tell me that you didn't, when you didn't...Hey, there is a lot to consider as a father!
Father: I was thinking blue...Interesting. Do you think it would be a valid trade? Perhaps I should...--But, what would you know? Paper-clips are chocking hazards to children your age...you don't have any on you, do you?
(OOC: Manfight!)
Father: Jack-of-all-trades!...Yes, that's another expression Jana. But it doesn't mean we can sell Mingosteen's brother...or swap him for a paper-clip on e-bay or anything.
Father: *to Jana* Not exactly...Its an expression like, "Paint the town pink" means to go overboard...Not that anyone really paints pink towns...Especially if they've just been thrown overboard...Although, that did happen once in Gibralta...
Father: Excuse me? *snatching toast back* Yes...I really am that petty and steal food from the mouths of my own children...*to Jana* Sit! Stay. *hands her toast back* Good girl. Right...any other business?
(OOC: I've been reading through the old thread, and you're actually doing her as she's...
Father: That's right, Jana, of course. *to Harvey* Are we still checking these sheets for small print? *lifts sheaf of paper* Because I was just thinking we should get this linen washed today...You're right, small children's hand prints all over it...Shouldn't let the kids eat toast in the...
Father: Well, I may be sharing a bed with a horse but at least there's no living together business going on! *out the window* Don't think just because I'm upstairs I can't hear what goings on are...going on...Honestly, kids these days...
