What brought me here: I've browsed this forum as a guest for years (since middle & high school) and then I decided to join and chat with other like-minded Muppet fans.

Haha, I'm glad you like that one. That's my favorite too because I drew a Muppetized version of myself in the first panel. :) And it was great to think of things that the Muppets would say about the New Year.
Hi there! Very intriguing plot you've got here. Wow...the Muppets find a runaway girl and take her in, I assume? Please continue the story! It's great so far.
No, it's definitely not Sesame Street. It's the end credits of the Muppet Movie (1979). After the film is over, the credits show all the Muppets in the theater, mingling with one another. Of course, Zoot is dozing off.
(Big Bird's name is shown because he made a cameo in the movie.)
Welcome to all our new members! I am especially happy that bekkah's child seems to love the Muppets as much as (s)he does, and that we also have a Muppet fan named Ann all the way from Russia! What a great day for this forum!
As Kermit would say, YAAAAYYYY!!!! (waves hands wildly in the air)
I noticed in the above clip when Zoot plays "Walk Right Back" that his sax sounds much lower, like a baritone sax, and when Dr. Teeth joins in, it goes up to the range of an alto sax. I wonder why that is. I don't think a saxophone has such a wide range like that.
I liked the Pepsi commercial when the boy gets busted for having a wild party at his parents' house, complete with a duct-taped dude on the ceiling, but he gives his parents Pepsi and they're like, OK no problem...As you were.
Then the kid on the ceiling falls and lands on his face. XD
The...
Yes, that one was my favorite from Season 5! But Floyd AND Janice backed up Linda in "Blue Bayou."
And the "I'm So Happy" number is not fine. It's uproariously funny because of Jerry's deadpan delivery and the irony of the lyrics. Fine is an understatement, in my opinion.
I should also mention...
I'm not sure if taking them out of the movie will work. It's an interesting idea, but the public really loves Gonzo and I'm sure that he will have plenty of screen time, if not a major role in the movie.
I agree with you on one thing about Rizzo and Pepe: Rizzo is not as well known to the...
Yes! I picked the Baltimore Ravens to win! But boy, was it close. You see, I went to my dorm room during the third quarter while the power was out in the stadium. I came back half an hour later and the 49ers had scored 14 points, bringing them to an 8 point deficit. I stayed for the rest of...
Do you mean that all-new sketches for Pigs in Space, Vet's Hospital, Swedish Chef, News Flashes, etc. will be taped and used in the film? If so, it would be really great to see the return of Link, Dr. Strangepork, the Newsman, and others.
No, no. Back in November someone uploaded them, and I found them and posted them here. But due to copyright infringement issues, this person's YouTube account has been terminated and the videos are no longer available. So if you were to go to my thread here about SS New Mexico episodes, the...
Uncle Deadly was NOT patterned after Vincent Price. He was inspired by the actor John Carradine. Scroll down, & Deadly is discussed after Thog.

I never thought of it that way. Interesting, but I don't think that's what the Muppet...

you've read Jim Henson: The Works, Sesame Street: A Celebration of 40 Years, and Of Muppets and Men from cover to cover.
you prefer Muppet versions of popular songs or classical tunes to the originals (E.g. Dr. Teeth's "Money" or Robin's "Over the Rainbow")...
Decided to repost this from the "Favorite Zoot moment" thread:
I just came across these as well:
Anne Murray sings and the EM (sans Animal) back her up.
and I REALLY LOVE Zoot's gritty sax solo in the Chopin number.
:D: All right! Honk it! Honk it! (I think that's what Dr. Teeth says to...
No, I meant that there was another Youtube user who posted the videos on Youtube, and a few days later I found them via Youtube and put them here on the forum. But if I need to put a disclaimer, I'll do it.
