Count could have an N or an E. There is a 4th figure that hasn't been shown yet. Maybe we will see it at NYCC. NECA stated they will release these 2 at a time. I'm hoping for Oscar, but based on the E's design it could be Guy Smiley.
As for price, it's not 2004 anymore. It is kind of crazy...
Pre-orders went up today for the Sesame Street Ultimate figures from NECA.
Both come with multiple hands and a second head sculpt. Bert comes with the letter A and Ernie has the letter C. Bert is a bit heavier on accessories, but both come with what they need IMO. The poses shown in the promo...
They didn't seem to have much of a presence at SDCC and no updates on their social media. There are still retailers that didn't get series 1 in yet, so I imagine series 2 is delayed as well. Last listing I saw had series 2 coming winter of this year though.
Series 3 will likely be a ways off...
I was just saying that it isn't smart to release characters that go together in the same line and surmised that when they get to the Martians they may be a 2 pack.
Another small update:
The lamp post shown at comic con was just a show piece for now. It will not come with Ernie. Which means Ernie may be a bit light on accessories.
It's confirmed that each figure will come with a letter just like Palisades originally intended.
Bert and Ernie should be...
Having Bert and Ernie release at the same time makes good business sense. I didn't get why Palisades was going to separate them. If you sell one, you'll sell the other at the same time. I'd bet the Martians are a two pack.
Based on these, I wish NECA had the Muppet license as well. I'd love...

According to this tweet from the sculptor of the line, the figures will fit in with the Palisades Muppets and Super...
Assuming that's what the card said. It's hard to make out the last digit of the year.
However, we've seen toy companies do fairly quick turn around when they need to. NECA, for example, didn't even show their "Tree Pusher Earl" variant until it was already I
On Target shelves. They had the...
I didn't mean to come off as if one line was better than the other, but ReActionnfigures are for people who like the retro look with 5 points of articulation. I've just never been a fan of that style.
The Ghostbusters figures with the diorama pieces was done by Diamon Select. NECA is...
IMO, there us zero comparison between Super7's ReAction line and NECAs Ultimate line. The ReAction figures are $20 a piece and are done in a 70's/80's retro style with very basic articulation and simplified sculpt. They are OK for what they are if you like that style, but the price is steep for...
There is also a Toony Terrors line that was shown a week or two ago. They showed Bert and Ernie via pictures online. At the show they had those figures as well and showed off Oscar in the Toony Terror style.
Also, it looks like the card for Ernie says Q3 2024. I hope that is true and we don't...

I just saw pictures of full articulated, puppet accurate, full textured and painted, Sesame Street action figures!!!
These look like what Palisades tried to give us 20 years ago! Finally, a company is making a long standing dream come true. The accessories look...
Flange Doozer was released as it's own single release, not part of a "wave". He is in the classic Doozer.
Wave 1 has Cotterpin and the Architect in the modern style with the brighter colors and safety vest.
Red, Gobo, and Matt are the same design in the new show and the old show so I suppose the figures are technically both. Of the main cast, only Mokey has a different design in the new show which her figure will reflect. A classic version is said to be planned as well.
As for the Doozers, the...
I just got them in hand myself, and having open Red and Traveling Matt I can say these look and feel very much like an upgraded Palisades figure. The proportions are spot on, the likeness are practically perfect, the accessories are a good amount and fit the characters. The fleece texture is a...
A picture of Gobo has been posted, showing how he scales with the Diamond Select Kermit and Fozzie. As expected, these won't work with that line. However, they do seem to be in scale with the Palisades line for those that want a Muppet Family Christmas display.
Also, there are reports of...
In case people are interested, two reveals for this line were posted.
First we have Tree Pusher Earl - https://www.toyark.com/2024/06/23/dinosaurs-ultimate-earl-sinclair-wesayso-figure-by-neca-535416
Currently at Target, but should hit other retailers in a few months.
And next is Captain...
I'd say Eric's Oscar sounds like Oscar with a cold in the same way Matt's Big Bird sounds like he has a cold. It's like they are speaking, but they can't get too lound.
I do think both are good, though. Probably as good a recast as we could get.
