Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
There are a few mistakes I noticed whilst watching 'The Muppet Show' and 'The Muppet Movie' and I was wondering if anyone else noticed them and/or any other ones.
1. In the Valerie Harper episode of 'The Muppet Show' in the scene in the dressing room, after the 'pinch line' exchange, when...
I don't know what it is, but, in each of my Muppet Show DVD sets the disc that has Miss Piggy's picture on it has come loose from it's holder on multiple occasions (Coincidence? I think not!). Has this happened to anyone else, or is it just me?
I didn't think it'd be all that hard. Disney's made other animatronic versions of their animated characters and made, at least, a CG Donald (the look of which can be easily adapted into an animatronic version).
The Full Ride Script
I decided to redo my original ride though description to incorporate the things I forgot and the suggestions made by Fluffets.
You start out in the, hopefully, fan-packed queue that is designed in the style of the Muppet Labs set from the show. Odd machines sit...
Aww...I'm blushing. :o And I think Fluffets will be, too, once he sees your reply.
I honestly thought I was wasting my time while I was typing it out, since all of my other posts have up and disappeared. But I FINALLY posted something that is still here!
:) HOORAY!
I know. That's what my mind runnin' on a Muppet Show ride. Plus, I went on the Great Movie Ride on our family's trip to Disney World. (I also filmed it with my fancy new camcorder!)
P.S. :D to you too.
Apparently not a lot of other people think so or I would have gotten more feedback.
I NEED FEEDBACK! I LIVE FOR FEEDBACK! I THRIVE ON FEEDBACK! (I also thrive on being overly dramatic!)
And now a word from our sponsor.
Aglets.
And that concludes the word from our sponsor. We now return...
And now for something completely different!
Just something I had buzzing around my head that I'd try to see what other people thought.
You may NOT! be an obsessed Muppet fan if...
...you don't know Miss Piggy from kosher bacon.
...someone says 'Zoot' and the first thing you think of is...
I think the main reason they released the 1st season cut is because they wanted to get it out in time for Kermit's fiftieth anniversary. (It had the logo on the box!)
I think that they would have gotten it out uncut if they weren't trying to do that.
