I have a question, and it may have been asked before...
Jim...er...Hawkins, or whoever ya be, have'st ye ever wanted or had'est the opportunity for to do and for to write for Sesame Street or any other Hensonian puppety project? And if you did'st have such an one opportunity, who, what, where...
Well, if you're referring to My Harmonica, and Fraggle stories written by Effy...well, they have a very specific format. I actually found that was the very magic of them. The strange grammar (due to Russian influence), and the formatting. That was what made them special to me. But I can also...
It is The Muppet Take Manhatten! Rowlf is working at a Kennel, and a posh guy gives him a dog (I think played by a real dog?) to look after named Snookums. "Skookums prefers the Rubber Washington Journal, to the Rubber Wall Street Post." "Rubber newspapers."
The man is very mean to Rowlf, and...
I've seen some pictures and vids of a group in the army (I forget who now) who have a bunch of Muppet action figures for a mascot, have you considered going down the action figure route instead of the replica?

Yeah, I was worried about that too. It's possible that people will think, "Oh! Superheros...we'll drag our kids to it." But it IS labeled 18 here in the UK, so it should be ok.
Please don't think that because I haven't read or posted lately, I haven't been wanting to keep up with the story. I've just not had the right frame of mind to concentrate or read the last few days. Will catch up soon though!
I watched it last night, and aside from almost being sick at the brutality within it, it truly is the most hard-edged and realistic Comic Book movie ever made.
The look: It couldn't have looked better. It really couldn't. Everything was there. You could take any screen-shot from the movie and...
See, I think that's the magic of Fraggle Rock. For England, somehow they exist in the same way, but with a different location/Doc/Captain/etc.
And if that can happen with different nationalities, then it can also happen with different time periods.
Therefore, if you follow, the recasting...
