Even a tad chillier today (48F, 9C) Oooh single digits for the celsius! Supposed to be chilly through Saturday, then 60's Sunday and near 70 for Halloween. Yes!
:D <--------- times ten! Great to see you Vic! Been thinking from time to time this past week that one of these days soon we'll see you here. Awesome! Hope all is well or is getting well with you. :)
And now they are history.
S W E E P ! ! ! ! Way to go Chisox! Well, last year the Red Sox won for the first time since 1918. This year the White Sox for the first time since 1917. Could it be the Cubs next year for the first time since 1908? Naw, they should wait till 2008 to make it an...
Well the crowd didn't end up having much to cheer about in Cincinatti after all. Pittsburgh really pounded them into submission. The Eagles got so lucky at the end against the Chargers (a blocked fg and a fumble that was reviewed and could have been overturned), Dallas blew it at the end against...
Bravo bravisimo, Dantecat!
So far here's the tally of the five questions in this thread:
Dantecat: 4
The Count: 1
I'll bet this last one was just a guess though, eh Dantecat? heh heh heh
Just wanted to say I've really been enjoying those lyrics to the "chicken and the egg" song, Rosewood. I printed them out a few days ago and now I have them memorized. Today I was singing them at times while mopping, etc. :)
I sang it while walking down the hallway with a fellow custodian and...
Thanks for the picture, Gonzo. Always great to put a face with another fellow member here. And superfan, I knew an Amy when I was a kid. She lived nearby and had brown hair and eyes. Also, thanks for the nice comment about my niece. And oh yeah she gets spoiled rotten, but I am hardly the only...
And here's even further freakiness! : Not only did I join on your birthday and then you joined two weeks later, but when I joined (3-30-05) it was 2 weeks after MY birthday! Wooboy!
Well I just checked and no significant poster ever joined on my birthday. But I also checked for previous March...
Here's another one, but it's yet another super easy one. It's still fun to see a SS question on the show, but I wish they'd ask some in the middle ($2000 - $25000) or upper level ($50000 - $ one million) for a change!
For $500:
With the help of a ring bearer named Elmo, Maria and Luis got...
It's cool and chilly once again (51F, 11C) but the rain is all gone and no rain forecasted for the entire next week.
For lunch I thought about the recent thread about McDonald's vs. Burger King fries because I went to McD's and enjoyed a quarter pounder w/cheese and a large order of fries!
Thank you Rosewood, it was a lot of fun reminiscing about those baker falling down the stairs sketches and having the gaps filled in on the areas where I couldn't recall a certain number item. :)
Sesame Street is just so amazing. This baker series alone was so incredibly well done. Here we had...
Time to get out the shovels. :)
Heh heh, I agreed with you that while it looked good for the Sox, the Astros still weren't out of it yet. Now that they are down 3-0 it really looks pretty bleak for them, though. I know Boston came back from a 3-0 deficit against the Yankees last year, but...
Yeah probably a lot of the strange cravings and concoctions were just used for humorous effect on television shows. But I think pregnant women do often experience basic food cravings.
Right now I'm craving some dinner!
It is a pretty neat thing. I just submitted mine. And for those who may live in a small town, maybe it'd be a good idea to use the zip code of the nearest large city to you. It's still probably safe but just a little suggestion for what it's worth. I see the point Beau was making. :)
I think a common craving of a wife "expecting". Sardines is another odd one. And sometimes some peculiar combinations like hot fudge sundaes with .... pickles. :p
MMMMM Marilyn Monroe and the kissing scenes in "Some Like it Hot". ;)
I just can't say enough how fascinated I was with the Milland performance and Tony Wendice character in "Dial M For Murder". His slipperyness and cunningness were frequent and amazing. Also, loved that British accent of...
Also, take generous amounts of Vitamin C. I know this is nothing new I'm telling you here, but just wanted to underscore that Vitamin C really works!
Edit: Oh yeah and that's good you're getting sleep. I have always found a profound difference in how I feel after I've slept for a long period...
