Hi, everybody. I'm making a Christmas present for my aunt and uncle. She's a Muppet fan, and he likes/raises chickens. So......I'm making them a Sculpey sculpture of Gonzo next to a replica of my uncle's henhouse. He (Gonzo) will be in a black tuxedo, awaiting Camilla.
Would anyone...
Hey, I just noticed something...
Remember those references that stated that Ed Sullivan, when introducing the Muppets for the first time, he said "Jim...uh, Newsom's puppets"? It's mentioned in a few articles, and maybe "The Works", but I'm not sure.
Anyway, that's what Ed said...but they...
Well, I still have not heard from the Gilda's Club Quad Cities for the official word on when the auction will be, although the date is supposedly on October 19 (according to the website). I had hoped by now that the website would have their picture of the Gilda statue and I up on their site...
I have to follow that with Fozzie's line from the Connie Stevens episode:
"Awwwahhhhh---awwwawawahhhhhh----Close tuh youuuuuu!" :o
Wouldn't it be just hilarious if Fozzie "suddenly appeared" at somebody's wedding reception singing this? :o

Speaking of the C3PO reference, a lot of people probably already know this, but right before Chewbacca switches Threepio off, he says:
"Only an overgrown mophead like you would be stupid enough..."
Some people for years thought Threepio said "overgrown Muppet"! LOL! Well, I guess Chewie...

Okay, I was out of the Muppet Central loop for over two years, and I heard way back when that Jerry Nelson was going to release a CD of his original songs. I read about it here at MC. Is this CD out yet? Is it going to be out? Please let me know!

Hey, folks, I wanted to ask about a commercial I keep seeing. It's for Detrol, a medicine, and theres a little jingle that goes "Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now, gotta go, gotta go, gotta go!" I won't mention what the medicine is for, but the jingle makes it pretty obvious...
Well...
Hi, everybody.
Just wanted to let you know I won't be posting for a few days because I'll be busy with some major projects this week...primarily a huge test I have to take for grad school.
It's one of those tests you take in order to be admitted into your major field of study in graduate...
Another S&W segment was just on!!!
:sleep:I can't remember the last time I was this bored.
:boo:What, you already forgot Jimmy's monologue?
:boo: HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Go Statler and Waldorf!!!
Convincing John
Well, they just showed Kermit with shades, singing the ABC's with Uncle Frank, and another S&W segment:
:boo:Y'know, I really envy that Jimmy Kimmel.
:sleep:Oh, why's that?
:boo:He's the only one who doesn't have to WATCH Jimmy Kimmel!
:boo: HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Well, folks, it's time for yet another "Gilda Construction Story".
Picture if you will, the garden and picnic table next to a garden (this is the same place from the "Okay, Rinse" story). At this point in time, all the pieces of the statue were still apart and unpainted.
Well, I did this...
Animal is on! He's sitting in with the band! So far he's just said "KIMMEL! KIMMEL!" :halo: I don't know who's performing him, though. His drum set is a 60's style design with "The Electric Mayhem" printed on it.
Hey, there's a bear...whoops...false alarm. It's not :o...a bear on a...
While I'm waiting for Kermit to come on, I thought I'd post this Big Bird dream I had a long time ago. I posted it before on the old Muppet Central, so some of you might remember it, but for those who missed it...
Okay, I had just got the book "Sesame Street Unpaved" and at the time, I was...
Hey, everybody. Anyone believe in doing stuff for good luck? Well, you're welcome to try this one on for size.
I read that Gilda Radner believed if you said "Bunny, Bunny" at the beginning of every month, you'd have good luck during the coming month.
I suppose you could always tap your...
Well, as I mentioned in another thread, we should have more of the obscure characters made. I love the better known Muppets as much as the next fan, but the more secondary characters that are made, the better IMHO. Personally, if a figure is released, I would rather have it be someone new...
I wondered if anyone could help me with this...
I've seen clips on Sesame Street with a guy in them who looked like Jim Henson. I know it was him juggling in the "Sing a Song of 3" clip (with the baker), but what I'm talking about is:
A guy in snowshoes spells out ME in the snow with his...
Well, I'm not sure when Barkley appeared, but that sounds right. I just heard the whistle, and wondered who it was. Well, let's see, we've ruled out Joe Raposo and Gobo so far...at least the list is narrowed down a little :) Who is that mystery whistler? Perhaps Sherlock Hemlock will have to...
Happy Birthday, Fran!
"Oh welcome, oh welcome to our little board
Where Muppet ideas are always explored.
We all want to tell you in our special way,
We really love your work and Happy Birthday!"

I have recently listened to the SS clip "Lowercase n", (one of my favorite clips) and it sounds like Richard Hunt is singing it...well, to me, anyway. Is it Richard? I wondered if anyone knew...
Also something else I noticed, in the older versions of SS during the closing credits (where...
