Glad you're liking it! I do have a few post-script stories in mind, but those won't be part of the proper series. And, of course, I'm saving up outtakes for the blooper reel.
What is an "input"?
Lil0Vampy: Thanks! The next one is half-written already.
The Count: Heh, it was a last-minute whim to throw Skeeter in. Originally I was going to just make up an "um-friend" for Scooter, but then I flashed on the Skeeter that appeared in the comic. I didn't care much about the TV version...
That's good news indeed, whatever the news turns out to be. I am looking forward quite eagerly to seeing more developments on this project, but, believe me, I know about the demands that that annoying "earning a living" thing can put on a person.
...And we're heading into the closing stretch, with the penultimate installment of...
Muppets from Earth
Part 16: Friends and Family

It was a warm and quiet afternoon. Brian, Gonzo, and Camilla watched as two shapes glided through the air. They swooped in...
Hmm. My least favorite are easily Andy and Randy. When they're onscreen I want to fast-forward. After them, Pepe. Not because I hate his schtick so much as because he's so bleedin' overused. He was one of the biggest flaws in MWoO, in my opinion. And finally, Digit. He always looked out...
I'm guessing that Rudolf Nureyev enjoyed himself; I can't see anyone doing that sauna number otherwise. On the other hand, every time I see the Liberace episode I get the feeling he handed the writers one of his Vegas patter scripts and told them to write an episode around that, and for...
Lil0Vampy: thanks, glad you liked it.
I'm wondering if anyone has any questions they'd like to ask Brian. Not that I have a specific reason for that...
It's about time we got some answers... but before you have answers, you have to have questions.
Muppets from Earth
Part 15: Monsters

*****
It was a warm and quiet afternoon. Many of the Muppets were just getting up; after their first performance at the Muppet Theater in...
I finally got to see it. At home I'm on dialup--yeah, I'm one of the three people in the continental US who doesn't have high-speed internet--so I got in to work a little early.
My opinion: WIN! It's got just about everything I love the Muppets for. And being a low-level foodie myself, I...
TogetherAgain: Glad I could brighten up your day! Hmm, people do seem to like Billie. Maybe I should market a Lovable Companion Plush of her. I could make her out of marabou feather boas and google eyes.
This next chapter is proving to be a beast. When I edit my drafts I mark them up with...
Spike Jones and the City Slickers.
...What?
OK, seriously, I think that it is simply wrong that Weird Al Yankovic and the Muppets have not yet done a show together. I hope that Disney will recognize this and rectify it.
Perhaps the Gonzo photo on the left was taken during Winter, and the photo on the left was taken after his Spring molt. That would explain his apparently rounder head: thicker fur padded it out a bit. No idea why his nose would change color and shape between seasons, though.
One thing that...
Whew. The new Gonzo looks a little off, but it doesn't bother me too much, possibly because I've been watching old TMS DVDs and am used to him morphing between seasons. But that Piggy...! I must never have seen that puppet, because she looks like a different character altogether. She...
Hmm, it looks like they're keeping the Gonzo-head-on-Kermit's-body cover. I'd kinda hoped that bod would be redrawn.
That's one heck of a preview. I saw the first nine pages some time ago; I was surprised to see that about half the comic is online now. "Heh, cool."
Apropos of the comics...
Thanks, JEANYLASER.
And, Count, Brian is definitely coming back into the storyline:
Will somebody please buy Gonzo an ouija board?
Also, I was just interviewed on a podcast. It's about a book I wrote and illustrated - A Refugee in Oz - but I do slip in some Muppetness.
No problem. I figured that the confusion may have arisen from my nicknaming him "Brian the Sandwich," since you couldn't see the pic I drew of him. (He's sitting on a chair, talking into a mike attached to his nose, and moving a hand wired up in a glovelike 'waldo' as if working a mouth...
*laughs* Brian is not the sandwich itself, silly, he's the guy who speaks through the sandwich. He looks a lot like Gonzo, but with a pointier schnoz, purple fur, and a dark crest that he usually braids to hold it in check.
