In fact, give us the flat iron that we may wield it as a poker whilst burning the wigs! *fans the flames...* Wait! No, those were vintage Chinese fans! Get them out the fire, get them out!...sheesh...
But seriously, curls or nothing, people. (Although nothing might be a little too drastic...)...
Hmm...sometimes she can pull off the straight hair thing, but really it's getting a little old. See the Letters to Santa cover...It's still too much "Floating Piggy Head."
Inspired by a comment from our own Frogboy, over at the Muppet Mindset blog, I'm starting a medieval wig-hunt, in the tradition of the fight-for-freedom-from-flat-head-Kermit.
We're talking about Miss Piggy, and all the flat-haired, hair-straighteners, ear-lengthening blondes wigs she's had --...
Another new interview here, at the Wallstreet journal: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2009/08/25/miss-piggy-dishes-on-marc-jacobs-lady-gaga-and-the-new-muppets-movie/
Hey kids, I'm Beauregard (occasionally known as Mat B Regard, but that's a rare occasion so don't go freaking me out by doing it :P). I've been here for about as long as I can remember (not quite true, as I can remember the Delphi forum, but wasn't a member of that one...being too young at the...
That jacket she has on is certainly new, although in some other pictures you can see the dress she has under it is the old black one with the buckle neck-piece. Its so exciting to see her back with shiny new things!
Bea:zany:{Even if those shiny new things are topped by an odd pair of...
Yeah, she's having a Bunny-Ears day, but I figure that may be due to her very flat hair? Anyway, these pics are from the Glamorama event at Macys, where Miss Piggy's outfits are on show at the moment. It's been a mini-huge marketing push, with interviews and photos and Piggy appearing on Celeb...
My good friend, have ye tasted the Ask Jim Lewis Thread? That be a fair thread forsooth the sharing of our opinions with important Muppy writers.
Bea:zany:{With NO idea why that was written in ye olde' englishe}regard
Hey Jim, just me again...I wondered if you could tell us anymore about Miss Piggy's recent return to fashion circles -- with three interviews (that's we've found), the Macy's display, and a Marc Jacob's connection that's even got her onto the Vogue and Elle websites! Can you tell us if this...
I've defiantly seen it before, but I can't for the life of me think where...I thought it was on the back of the pink 30 Years video case, but it's not.
Does the fact I read the title of this thread as: "Rare Muppet Pigs" mean I have some kind of problem, or just that I've spent too much time watching TMS?
*laughs* I do see what you mean (And I'm having rather odd images of Cookie Monster eating people's heads...great, now I'll have those dreams again...) But similarly, I've worn masks to parties before, and they're not so much fun as they appear at first, and can be quite isolating (and...
Comfort, maybe? Who wants to be breathing their own breath all night behind a mask, when they can have a hood and still be able to see and chat and interact with everyone else at the party, while still giving a general Grover impression.
Maybe it's just me...but as I walk through this world of ours, just doing normal every day tasks, I am suddenly hit now and then by the true hilariousness of old Sesame or Muppet jokes which I have only...just...got.
For example, I was talking about cowboys the other day, and mentioned, "The...
Note: When she was appearing on the motorcycle, I am led to understand that she was also singing Lady Gaga's Pokerface...Perhaps she was supposed to look drunk :P
I agree though, the straightened thin hair look is really not her best, but I love her Marc Jacobs pictures with the wavy curls.
I love that Oscar costume (sorry Tooth!). I think it looks really cool, despite the fact it has "Scram" written in cheesy writing across the front (Why!). I'd buy it!
