Oooh! The pictures! And the interview clips! And the pictures! And the awesome links! And the pictures! Oooh, and the awesome discussion-based article writing! Oooh, and the pictures!
What? It's not easy to remain a totally devoted fanboy without them :P
Hmm! Sorry I've not kept up with the discussion (due to moving house...) but I just wanted to add another few cents (and maybe some sense?) to a few things:
Live at Disneyland
I am still not for this. Sure, people want to see the Muppets Live, and it would be better than the full-costume...
Probably not. Or, that's what we're hoping. That this guy was an understudy, and was forced (goodness only knows how!) to stand in for Kermit. I do honestly understand the need for such a person, as has been discussed, Big Bird has one that Matt fellow ruffling his feathers from time to time...

*stares* OH! I GET IT! Literally, life changing moment for me there, Scoot. I've never seen that as anything other than a quirky Muppet moment...Popcorn chicken...*laughing...a lot*
Mee-ow! I'm pretty sure he meant that as a compliment, young RedP. That you understand how hard it is to be Kermit -- because you've BEEN Kermit. Not that you don't understand Kermit and are not good at it...Deep breaths, people.
And also, I don't see any call whatsoever for you to personally...
You can say that under ANY circumstances! Whether it's because we are rushing (armed with Bean Bunny Plushies) to the man's defence, or whether he is rushing away from us as we run at him armed with mental images...that really...well...Oooh! Plushie!
Anyway! Tomorrow is Steve Whitmire Saturday...
Now here is where the real issue is. Performer or not, what were DISNEY thinking? I agree it looked little rehearsed, and it really does show how much they think of the Muppets if they felt this was going to not cause a stir, or a problem, or create a bad reaction towards the Muppets. Youtube...

Oops...I have no idea what just happened. *gets up*

Hi Monster (not something I say everyday...usually just when checking in my closet or under the bed, actually...) I don't have a question as yet, but next time you do see Kevin please pass on my appreciation for him as a performer, puppeteer, voice-artist, and all-around good-guy.
Small story...
Jerm! (I've no idea where that came from? Weird accent?)
I saw the Kermit/Piggy appearance on America's Got Talent yesterday -- phenomenal Miss Piggy performance, by the way, agreed by all -- wondered if you had anything to do with it? The Emergency Use CD was a strike of genius and the...
You haven't noticed any weirdos here! Well, there'sthe beak-nosed one who catched cannonballs, the tall red one who squeaks, the moustached one with the guitar, the cu-uteblue one with a giant SG on his shirt, and the Swedish one witha chef's hat for starters!
Bea:hungry:{regards}regard
*laughs* Yes! This is my favourite comment on the Youtube video! "You know how Fozzie and Kermit were twins in GMC, this is what their dad sounds like."
It's great though to see a lot of people there still clamouring for a new show or project! "Who wants to sign a petition to bring the Muppet...
I wonder if a part of the problem is that over the last year things have been steadily going UPhill for a change, instead of downhill or on the neither-up-nor-down keel, and so we expected better of them than to pull a stunt like that. Two or three, even a year ago, it wouldn't have come as such...
Something that I think has gotten lost amidst and shock and horror (and blood spilling :P) of Alternate-Kermit is that this performance was sweet, romantic, funny (Hello Chickens!), and although it was short-lived and kinda pointless, it seemed well thought out (for such a quick thing) and all...
