minor muppetz, check out the third annual MC award ceremony thread. You won an award there a little while ago. Just letting you know because I'm not sure if you would have seen it. :)
Now that the new NFL season is underway, and so as not to use the baseball 2006 thread for football talk, I thought I'd start this thread for the new season.
Well it looks like an exciting season overall because there seem to be some really strong teams (eg. Jacksonville, Indianapolis...
A little hard for me to enjoy the clips when they are in a language I can't understand. A few days ago I viewed a Dutch one with a classic Ernie and Bert sketch where Ernie was thirsty and imagining he was drinking a glass of water (and then further disturbs Bert by imagining he's eating a...
Very nice day here today. 68, sunny, low humidity, and a comfortable breeze (yesterday was too windy and gusty). I'm looking forward to taking a walk soon. And let me ask this once again: Does anyone else here enjoy going for walks when it's nice outside? No one answered that before and, to my...
new update
Thought I'd revise again, along with slipping in a brief entry on CM and, in view of the recent "Double Post" entry, Double Ziffel. :)

As Cookie Fan said, there are just tons and tons of funny SS sketches. It'd be like saying what were the funniest lines from "All in the Family" or "The Honeymooners"? There's just so many to choose from. That, of course, was one of the many brilliant features of SS. That it utilized a lot of...
Yeah I loved that number 4 cheer skit. I love the way the brown muppet says "Hip Hip Hooray" near the end. And it was wild at the end how the blue muppet was swinging aroung so wildly. Here's what one youtube comment said about that:
"Look at the blue muppet that Jim Henson is puppeteering...
WOW! I just clicked on this thread to read the posts and then noticed that there are 54 guests viewing this thread. Wow I never saw a number close to that high before for one single thread.
One more thing that I thought was funny and great from that Bert/Sherlock/Jon Jon skit I mentioned in the previous post was when Bert started off asking if they both wanted to count. They both answered in the affirmative and then Bert started talking about how they would go about the exercise...
Sure would. For instance, instead of having a pet dog Buddy like Clinton or Checkers like Nixon, or a pet cat Socks like Clinton or India like Bush, the President's pet would be a pigeon! (Bernice).
And yeah, for SS humans, I'd most like Gordon (with probably Bob for the running mate)...
Boy I'm not sure just what's wrong with the Skins (besides EVERYTHING :p ). They were 10-6 last year and won a playoff game. I expected, with Gibbs at the helm, for them to continue to improve. Clinton Portis is a big loss, but they looked so ugly against Dallas that I think he would have been...
Found this thread from before I was a member here.
From TMS I would most want Kermit as Prez with Sam the Eagle as his veep. Both are intelligent, but Kermit has a little more of the personality necessary for diplomacy that would make him more suitable for the top spot of the ticket.
For...
Sunny and nice here too. (Always nice when you get a day like that on a day off from work, eh?!) Actually, it's a little warm (82 now going up to 84). But that'll change soon. It's supposed to rain tomorrow (we got a lot of rain Friday and Saturday) and then only reach 70 or the upper 60's the...
Heh heh that's interesting you posted here today, Vic, because I see in my last post here I said "Well here we are at this thread 2 months later." And now today is just one day shy of two months later again!
Also Vickers, I thought about you yesterday when your Giants beat the Eagles! I love...
Thanks Count, the new things (including the new entry "Sticky" from the upside down frog :) ) are incorporated. I'm glad the option to edit the post was still in effect.
I wasn't sure which way to go with number titles (3004). The reason I had decided on putting it alphabetically with the T...
Yeah I thought an asterick before an action as in... *smacks forehead ...
was for any action. Didn't know it should also be accompanied by a sound.
*mulls this over a few seconds
And I also first saw this asterick/action thing used by someone as a single asterick, rather than one at the end...
