I played a bit with Sidebottom's design because this would be for the animated series, which did not stick very strictly with the TV series' designs...or characterizations...or theme. In "Sidebottom Butts In" Sidebottom isn't just Boober's fun side, he's everything Boober would like to be but is...
Fan art for the animated Fraggle Rock. I feel so ashamed.
Sidebottom was discussed in Boober's character profile in the FR:TAS DVD extras, but he was never used. That is a sin and a shame, so I felt obligated to draw him and write a fanfic about him.
Slightly off-topic maybe, but I would have liked to see Sidebottom in the animated FR series. He was discussed in the series bible, but not actually used. I can't help wondering how he would have turned out.
*starts scribbling story notes*
I'd like to have seen an episode in which the Fraggles actually do something that benefits the Gorgs. From a Gorg point of view, Fraggles are vermin who swipe food from their garden. Wouldn't it be nice if they could give something back for once? Not in terms of payment, but helping someone...
A Wandering Heart
Part 13: Veggie Monster
by Kim McFarland
*****
Janken sat at a console, looking at the three monitors. They showed different views of the same scene: a mostly-empty stage, with people wandering about. They were figuring out blocking, scenery shifts, and suchlike.
Janken had...
I checked the Library of Congress website and found Senate Bill #978. Here it is.
Its title is "To amend the criminal penalty provision for criminal infringement of a copyright, and for other purposes." Go read it. It is not worth all the hysteria I've seen on the 'net.
Ha! My first thought is that some fan made a Scooter jacket, the way Star Trek fans make Starfleet uniforms. Shoot, I once made a Ranma Saotome jacket.
One things that jumps out at me, and I don't think anyone else has mentioned it: in the shot in the office, Thog's head is obviously a...
My approach is that time passes, and characters do mature and age. However, in the world of the Muppets, time is as squishy as continuity, so the Muppets may not have actually aged 30 years since TMS. One could argue that Muppets are a subspecies of Toon, and Toons stick at whatever age is...
Very nice! An enjoyable read, and as a dedicated bibliophile (no matter how many bookshelves I put up I will always have 10% more books than that) I appreciate the ending. Thanks!
D'OH! No matter how often I proofread my stories, something weird always slips by me.
To quote The Trash Heap, "It's always good to learn a second language!"
(I seem to have a hard time with Sprocket's name. In one draft of "Trials and Tintinnabulations" I called him Frisket.)
I think it all depends on the time you go to see the movie. Matinees will probably be really kid-heavy. Evening shows will have more teens and adults. I'd expect any audience to have a mix, though.
Thanks! This pic has gotten a lot of "Oooh, how cute! I want to hug and/or adopt one!" And then there's a friend of mine who called my attention to how Wembley looks like he's picking his nose. I had to clean the cola off my monitor. :coy:
Silence, not a sound from the pavement.
Has the moonlight lost her memory?
She is smiling alone.
In the lamplight the withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan.
I'm pretty late with this illustration for the last chapter of Runt. I've already drawn Little Boober, but...
