Here's a clip that I hadn't seen before, but have seen a still image at Muppet Wiki for years. Was an English copy of this clip already online/in tape trading circles, or is this the first time (that we know of) that an English version is available to fans in the age of the internet?
They answered my question about how hats generally get put on (and he pronounced my last name right!). That's something I've been wondering for years, some hat-and-head combinations look like they'd be hard to keep the hats on (like most hats Kermit wears).
It's interesting they bring up how...
I found a partially-English copy of "We Coulda" (the English part is what was featured in The Gang's All Here album, there is a bit of spoken word dialogue not included in the album).
A few years ago somebody sent me a link to an international episode that had this (but with the sound...
Wow. This was announced back in November, and yet I didn't know about them until Toy Fair? That's odd.
These look good. I hope there's a second series. If they're aimed at collectors more than children, I'd like for series 2 to include Grover, Snuffy, Telly, Herry, and The Count.
Top ten things I most want to see The Nostalgia Critic review, do a top 11 list of, or do an "old vs new" video (some of these might be things that he has confirmed he won't do, but I can still want him to do them).
10. Muppets From Space
9. The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (would he...
Last year, Rick Lyon said on Facebook that he performed Kermit in a foreign commercial, which I think is this one. Shortly afterwards he posted a photo of himself with Kermit in that outfit. He said that Jim Henson didn't perform Kermit in that because the vocals were going to be dubbed in...
Well, I got the Singing with the Stars 2 DVD today. I had actually forgotten that it was being released today but then saw it at the store and decided to pick it up.
It is a good release. There's a lot of songs that I don't remember knowing about, I guess I've paid less attention to what's...
What's the deal with the ending to The Buttercream Gang? The movie involves one member of the gang, Pete, having to move to Chicago, only to return after the experience had turned him bad. Everybody tries to get him to be good again, but eventualy he goes back to Chicago, and then after some...
So in Billy Madison, the title character had previously only graduated school because his father had paid all of his teachers to give him good grades.
It's also clear that he doesn't have a drivers license, as he takes the bus to school and is never shown driving.
So I guess his father...
"Balls" was first, "Shoes" was second.
Actually, for the first part of season 30, the exact same episode of Elmo's World would be shown in all five episodes of the week (they also did that with Blue's Clues at the time), I remember that eventually before the season ended they stopped that and...
If this documentary was made (or at least started upon) back when Jerry Nelson was alive, then I'm very surprised that we hadn't known about its development sooner. Especially if it's premiering next month. Maybe if it was just a regular television documentary, but it seems like this is going to...
The headline for the article mentioned five films to watch for. If the headline mentioned the Muppet documentary then I might have paid more attention to that.
I wonder which five it'll be, besides Frank Oz. I could see Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire being involved. Maybe also Louise Gold and Kathryn Mullen. But I don't think it says they are all Muppet performers. It would be a surprise if John Lovelady was among them. I also wonder if this might be...
I finally got a copy of the movie recently and have watched it. And it is a great documentary.
That conflict stuff with Jon Stone is interesting. It's something I've thought about for years. It seems like there's hardly anybody involved with the show that he had issues with, the only other...
Sometimes, a journalist or critic might "recant" opinions expressed in a past article, which means they take it back. But is "recanting" really good enough, especially if the public is aware of the original opinions? The original article might be a lot better known than the recant, after all.
