Yikes. Pretty much the same thing happened to me when somebody wanted me to upload a Flintstones episode two years ago, and it got blocked and taken down by Warner Bros. literally once it was all processed.
I'm gonna try to get a glimpse of the eclipse, but it's pretty cloudy and a little rainy...
It's just been reported today that the famous and legendary comedian Jerry Lewis has passed away at age 91.
Definitely sad and shocking...he was one of my comic idols. Now he's up there with Dean Martin, entertaining everyone from above the clouds.
I don't remember those things scaring me much (aside from maybe the piano), but another video game, Banjo-Kazooie, had that shark in the second level. It was terrifying to have to avoid it while the Jaws music played, and even worse, you had to get a Jinjo in its area.
Also, was anyone ever...
With the way that Sesame has played down to younger, younger kids in the last several years, I'm not sure if Herry's even, like, marketable nowadays. Seems like he started becoming just a sporadic character once Elmo's World became popular, and even beforehand he was still making frequent...
There's 32-bit versions of Windows 7 which you can play older games on, but those are pretty scarce compared to the regular 64-bit computers. Maybe the best solution nowadays is Virtual PC, but I can't speak from experience since I haven't used it.
So a long while ago (I think it was in the old Frown thread), I said that my old Windows 98 computer failed, and there were a bunch of games and files on there that I was worried would be gone potentially forever. One of those games was this Nutcracker-themed maze/adventure game which was from...
Here's a big question: if Billy's not doing Ernie anymore, couldn't he do work for the actual Muppets? His current list of credits on the Wiki only have Sesame stuff, and with his few years experience as Ernie, you suppose he'd somewhat be a successor to one of Steve's characters, since he took...
I think I've been able to do it successfully. There have been a few times though where a comment from a blocked user will show up as a notification on my phone, but not on an actual computer, so they stay hidden.
And yeah, a while ago I blocked that person as well, because those same comments...
Yep. C'est la vie.
I'm just glad many people were happy to see such rare and old episodes from seasons 30 and 31. That basically was the intent, really...to show things that people haven't seen in eons, even extending to a new generation (it seems, given how YouTube is now hugely popular with...
If SW doesn't want specific material of theirs to be on YouTube and chooses to take them down, then yes, you should respect their decision.
As for my affected videos, eh, it was fun while it lasted. Time to move on.
I just checked my e-mail right now, and....oh, boy....this is seriously not good.
Fourteen episodes have been taken down today, including the season 30 premiere (Alan's debut) and the season 29 finale. :concern:
Has David really ever done a Jim-type of character though? I'm not sure how well that would work since Kermit has a more mellow sort of personality/voice. And like you said, he's inherited much of Richard's characters over the years.
But either way, I can't quite see that happening.
Who's the other orange monster at 0:11? Is that supposed to be someone in Abby's family or is it one of Rudy's friends?
Interesting little preview though. I got a chuckle at Oscar's comment at the end.
For what it's worth, Sesame uploaded part of the Bert's Birthday story on their YouTube channel a couple days ago:
Guess this might leave you in a pickle, Oscarfan.
Oh dear...that's so sad. :-(
She was amazing as the long-time Granny in Looney Tunes franchise, and also as Rocky. And she was so close to reaching 100 as well.
It will be hard to watch the Sylvester and Tweety cartoons for a while. She'll definitely be missed.
