It would be interesting to see what the average minimum age is nowadays for a child to receive their first phone. A guy I know who's now in high school got his first cell when he was like around 7 years old back in 2009, but two things to note: he had restrictions of course due to age, and it...
Saw a video on YouTube tonight about the oldest living man in the US (and the oldest living US war veteran), and I must say that it's very impressive. Although it's from 2015, he's still going strong today as a supercentenarian, and I think he still even drives!
Oh yeah, that little boy yelling "WOW!" when you erase a picture. It does slightly sound like BB, but I never thought that...just sounded like some young dude.
And the sound during the film leader was also an erasing method. I always liked the 3, just because of how different it was from the...
I was just looking at a few videos of Kid Pix on YouTube today. I had the first edition of Kid Pix from the mid-90s, and it was the bomb! It featured some of the most '90s-style sound effects you will ever hear in a game.
Speaking of computer games, anyone here ever play the Reader Rabbit games...
I'm going to guess that maybe it's because they have a higher number of videos/subscribers, so it would take longer to find and pick videos to block, where otherwise I didn't have as big a collection as Maniac, so it's an easier selection. That's going on a limb, because ever since the blocks...
Actually, looking into it, it seems like most of the ones blocked today (including a whole bunch of Season 30 videos) were videos that exceeded 15 minutes, which is the default time limit for uploads. Guess SW decided they don't want videos longer than that time length.
I mean, yes, there's both good and bad things about all the rebooting, but I just feel it would be neater to see a movie or show that's more original and fresh instead of just plain rebooting a movie that was successful in the past, like Frozen. I don't want to see Disney being like, "We're...
Welp, a bunch of Season 31 episode videos were just blocked from YouTube today, as well as the above Ernie's Show and Tell vid.
Better start savin' what you want, because it's only a matter of time before they're all gone.
Just saw that yesterday's Google Doodle was of the famous Eduard Khil, originator of the Trololo meme. Apparently I must not have gotten it yesterday, and it's still there as of typing this.
Remember a segment from the 30th season called "Ernie's Show and Tell"? It's basically a standard show-and-tell sketch starring Ernie and a random kid at either a daycare or on Sesame Street, which appeared all throughout Season 30 and until the mid-2000s. These are most of the segments from the...
Dude, I saw that when it first premiered. Some of those sketches are still in the back of my head, like the bloopers at the end. :p
And yeah, it's definitely changed a lot since its first season, back when most of the episodes were TV-14 instead of TV-MA. I initially watched it from the get-go...
You know what's a bit sad about it? They're not just on children's videos like Sesame Street/Barney/Disney/etc., but also on videos that are clearly not meant for little children. I saw some today on one of the Whose Line Is It Anyway gag reels – which has over 10 million views, might I add –...
Oh, definitely Petey for sure. Nothing like promoting classic breakdancing to today's preschoolers. ;)
It would be nice to see Ruthie make a special appearance again, although I don't know if she does much performing anymore. She's kinda up there.
Well, it looks like pretty much every page on YouTube (the watch page, channel page, playlist page to name a few) just received makeovers, and they're all pretty big ones.
Not a fan of the new looks, and I particularly don't like how avatars are now enclosed in circular borders on YouTube...
What is it with those comments that only contain a random time mark? Like, what's the point of commenting something like "10:40" or "4:08" and saying nothing else?
Listened to Scatman John's famous song on YouTube a few days ago...this seriously cannot escape my head now. I played this for like, at least five times in a row.
It really shouldn't be a surprise. This happens all the time when some big change happens...a lot of people decide to vent their anger on these YouTube vids. You knew this was going to happen!
It's not too bad. It will take some getting used to for sure, but it's nice that we all finally get to hear Matt as Kermit, albeit for just a really quick video.
Still wish him the best of luck.
