Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Pig Doodle Dumpling - Muppet pigs are weird to draw. Link's front view and profile look like two different puppets, and Miss Piggy's arms, body, and legs are wildly different sizes. Her legs are like tree trunks with ankles! I need more practice before I get that right.
Can anyone guess which...
I'm not cool, I'm just cold. So cold that that hottub sounds really good now. Alas, the only hottub I see in my future is in my bathroom, if I don't use the cold water.
There is racist language in Fraggle Rock. However, it's usually directed at the Gorgs.
As for this case... people gonna hear what's on their minds, and if they think racist slurs are everywhere, they're going to see them where they don't exist. I wish they'd post the clip in question.
"I...
Hey, sock puppetry is no more and no less freaky than doll wiggling. When Boober's jester puppet kept acting up in The Incredible Shrinking Mokey I of course thought that it was Sidebottom acting bratty, and that led to the idea of letting him out in puppet form, which would be a lot more...
Thanks, Count. I've had a number of Boober & Sage scenes in my mind. They're very close, but I think the only fic in which I used that was Red Versus Blue. This is a pretty typical domestic scene with them, except of course for Sidebottom's inclusion.
I forgot to mention in the original post...
Silly is Good

It was a relatively quiet day in Fraggle Rock. Fraggles were singing and playing and generally making joyous noise, but not so loudly that Boober couldn't hear the dripping of the patchwork blankets hung on the clotheslines crisscrossing his room.
Boober...
My favorite interview by far was Walter. "Are you listening, Disney? Seasons four and five!" I now officially love the little Whatnot.
I was disappointed with Scooter's interview. He just didn't give off his normal bright-eyed bushy-tailed vibe, and when a character's delivery is off, he...
Actually, it makes perfect sense. When you hit the image button, a box pops up saying "Enter image URL". You're telling it to insert an image. You can't insert a HTML page inside a forum post, which is what you are trying to do when you put the DeviantArt page address into the aforementioned...
She wore a hat like that in "The Bells of Fraggle Rock." The colors may be off, but I remember being amused at the double-crown design.
Babies are contractually obligated to be ubercute. If they weren't, do you think people would change their diapers and put up with their crying jags...
Home is Where the Lap Warmers Are: Here's the full version of the illo for A Wandering Heart that appeared in my last doodle dump. It's not completely accurate, as in the story Jan had a blanket wrapped around himself 'cause he was half-frozen, but I thought it looked cuter of you could see him...
Love these pics, Newsie! Thank you!
The images aren't showing in your post because you linked to the deviantion page instead of the image itself. Here are the images:
This is a great idea, and I'd certainly participate. However, I'd suggest making a new thread just for brainstorming rather than changing the focus of this thread.
Edit: looks like a wandering moderator broke these posts out into a new thread. Thank you!
Someone on DA commented on how the tail sleeve looked like, er, something else. Sheesh!
When I first came up with the idea of a tail sleeve I thought I was being all original and witty. Then I saw that Wembley's outfit in "The Bells of Fraggle Rock" included a tail sleeve. Oh well.
I like dumping doodles.
Ka-Doodledump! The themes this time were sleepwear, nudity, and winter. The bottom right pic is an illustration for the final chapter of A Wandering Heart.
