Why, whatever do you mean? ;)
Man, I hope they don't try that! The Electric Company is simply unmatched, as Rita Moreno said. They tried re-doing Captain Kangaroo, and Bob Keeshan (the original Captain) had nothing to do with it. It flopped!!! It didn't work, and the kids didn't take to it at...
Jim...(maybe) in a Kayak
Thought I'd bump this up.
Watch this video and see what you think. Is Jim in this kayak? Pause it at 1:09 and there's a close-up (kind of) of the guy's face.

Of course, pause at 1:12 in this film, and it looks a lot...
So these clips will be on YouTube, then?
If so, do you plan to re-post "Lulu's Back in Town" on YouTube? I wanted to share it with someone who had never seen it before, and my VHS copy is buried in some old boxes. It's just one of my favorite "nonsense" Sesame clips from the old days...
The Baker (not technically a Muppet, but still on SS) was also spoofed. That was one of my favorite Sesame spoofs on Family Guy. That and "Pinball Stewie."

Chapter Eight
Chapter Eight, everyone. Enjoy!
"When your back's to the wall,
and your luck is your all,
then side with whoever you may.
Seek that which within lies waiting to begin
the fight of your life that is everyday."--Jethro Tull "The Third Hoorah"

Jim Henson reference
They just had a reference to Jim Henson, Swedish Chef and Kermit.
I won't ruin it for anyone who didn't see it, but they did show backstage at the Muppet Theater.
And they just showed Fozzie as well...with a really deep voice.

Right! Those were 120 half hour chunks of talent right there! And not just the guest stars were talented, EVERYONE on the Muppet Show (and other Henson productions) were extremely talented!
LOL! I could just hear Janice singing...
"I Dream of Janice with the Light Blonde Hair...fer sure!"...
Who should play Jeannie?
You know...I think Janice would be a good choice. I could see her as Jeannie...
See?
I bet Byron wouldn't argue with that!:flirt: ;)
But then I read this post by Ilikemuppets: "One thing that worries me about this current generation of entertainers is the lack...
That's right...Janice was supposed to come with the bus, not Zoot. (Forgetful Jones impression) "Oh, er, I fer-got! Duh huh huh huh huh!":o
Good thing they DID make Janice when they did, eh?:flirt: Palisades did an excellent job with her.

Same here.
Like Fozzie (and others), I felt that Sal and an articulated regular Robin would have completed the line for me. Bobo and Bean would've been cool, too.
We came so close to having Vet's Hospital figures, too. There was also a lot of talk about an Electric Mayhem Bus...
The Cube!!!
Of course it's awesome...Jerry and Richard are singin' it!:D Brightens my day every time I hear it. Did you notice that at the beginning of the clip you hear Jerry say:
"Hand me the hammer, would ya?"
And Richard replies:
"I don't know what we're gonna do with it, though!"...
I'm not sure about the other users, but I know that some of Larynxa's stuff didn't have the Noggin logo...there was an old SS clip in black and white (with Cookie Monster?) in that collection, for example.
Maybe Sesame Workshop and Viacom are both removing the clips?

Will sawing14s account be next? Get the free flv player online and save those clips while you can!!!
This is sad. I know with copyright issues and such, but...these most of these bits are all that's really left of the vintage Sesame that didn't make it to the Old School DVD's. Doesn't...
Another abbreviation...
I've seen "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" abbreviated around here frequently as "VMX". Does that count?
Also, some posters around here refer to me as "CJ" (for Convincing John). That's another abbreviation for the MC Dictionary (if needed).
