Well...Bob's what, 74? I think that'd qualify.;) But I do see what you're getting at. There's another factor to consider. When we think "old people" there's the old stereotype of grumbling Statler and Waldorf-ish people, Grandpa Simpsons and the like, associated with bingo, applesauce and...
Yep. In the "Terrible Tunnel" episode. She says: "The famous Fedora Fraggle was first hatched in..." then Wembley cuts her off to request the tale of the Terrible Tunnel. You have to be quick to catch it, but it's there.
It was toyed with in the beginnings of the show that Fraggles came...
Yeah, about the only way I can tell between the two is that Vogel's Big Bird voice is a little lower. He also sounds (in some JTE sketches) like he has a stuffed up beak. Maybe he should take some Vicks before going on those journeys to Ernie.

Not a gyp after all!
Even though it wasn't the pirate episode, the episode here wasn't bad at all. I gotta admit except for the "Hewo Guy" and that (shudder) Elephant, it was a pretty good episode. As an "old school" fan, I liked it! An old school "Grover with kid" moment aired, the Letter...
Aw, what a gyp! They played episode 4088 (from 2005) where I live. I wanted to see the pirate stuff. Ah well, can't win 'em all. At least today's episode (here) had some great Snuffy and Count moments.

Can't remember the exact details, but I can give you the basics.
There was one week back in the late 80's when Miles was around 10. They did a whole week on fire safety. A lot of it was set in Susan and Gordon's apartment. They showed a lot of basic fire safety stuff. Crawl on the floor to...
Hi all,
Can anyone out there, YouTube posters or otherwise, help me out with something?
I wanted very much to show a friend of mine the Noah scene from MFS. Would anyone know where I can see it online? I've Googled, YouTubed, etc. nothin'. Believe me, I've searched far and wide for it...
Yes, Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, Steve...and Jim!
I suggest doing something fun today in their honor. Who's with me?
You know what I did?
I knew I'd be "swamped":) today at work, so I celebrated a little early. I decided to take the advice of a friend of mine. I went out by myself to...
Replacement noses? Umm...how would that work? You'd have to order them from MR and glue them in yourself, I guess.
Is the vinyl nose do-able if it had the right "texture look" to it? That's what I meant by how Palisades did theirs. Looks like foam but made from plastic.
We're also...
Here's another idea...
Okay, so just as long as it looks like foam, everyone's cool with that, right?
Well...the nose on the Palisades Gonzos (not the earler ones, the later ones) looked spot on. Is there a way to just enlarge the Mega Gonzo nose (pattern-wise) to fit the replica and have it...
(CLUNK!)
(Picks jaw up off the floor).
These...are...incredible! These Fozzie pictures are even more amazing than the previous ones! Fozzie just paid Terry another visit and gave him a copy of the Muppet Show Season 2! Awesome!;)
Seriously, I hope that you send Frank Oz these photos...
Hey, I thought that episode was funny, too. Yeah, Mark was corny, but it was so over-the-top corny that it was funny. I thought his Kermit and Fozzie impressions were way better that Rich Little's! They should've saved that line "Who do you do?" for Rich's episode!
The Star Wars one is hated...
Some TV shows have stayed the same for quite a long time and worked...not quite hitting the 40 year mark, but close. Mister Rogers had the same format and PBS will (hopefully) continue to do so. I guess, (and I was thinking about this) "The Price is Right" falls into the same category. No, it...
You see, that's what's so special about these replicas. A real, live Muppeteer is working on the prototypes. They look so much like the real Muppets!
See, when I see those full-body Fozzie prototype pictures Terry took, I don't see a replica. I don't believe that. I think that Fozzie just...
I saw #4149
Hey all.
I saw episode #4149, and I haven't watched a full (recent) episode of Sesame Street in...at least 10 years.
As posted here, I gotta agree with Frank Oz on what he said:
Q: How do you feel about the direction "Sesame Street" has gone in, from the early days when you...
