First, thanks for not killing me. Second, they're not really married yet. Third, I think the problem is that there aren't that many suitably original ideas around Tinseltown these days and Tim himself isn't exactly a bank of story ideas. Forth, for what it's worth, neither Mr. Depp nor Ms...
I find that a little harsh. :o
Tim Burton might not be the best director in Hollywood (I'd like to see the fight that erupts when someone tries to take that mantle, but that's an apple for another day), but he wouldn't think that he could get away with making a Batman movie without Batman...
Maybe that was the main shoot and this is just second unit stuff or pick ups. Either way, it's all part of show business.
P.S. Welcome aboard, kslaboch! It's always nice to greet a new member. Now, please keep your hands and arms inside the forum until it comes to a complete stop. Thank you...
*SNARL! GRRR! Grumble, grumble!*
Okay, raging over.
Personally, I think Guillermo del Toro would be a good director for this project. Never happen in a million years, but it's fun to speculate. :search:
I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet, but one thing I'd like to see is re-issues of all the movie soundtracks.
Well, not MTM or MFS because Disney doesn't have rights to them (or MCC because they already did), but the soundtracks for The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper and Muppet...
Tron: The Original Classic - Because curiosity killed my cat.
Tron: Legacy - Because I like the first one.
Bedknobs & Broomsticks: Enchanted Special Edition - Because I saw half of it on TCM once, then the cable cut out.
MST3K: Volume XX - For the same reason I bout the others.
Mickey...
Zeppo: Please, leave me out of this.
*LockJaw rushes in, fire hose a-blazin'*
LockJaw: Help! The irony is getting to me!
*Bugsy Them wanders in*
Bugsy: Look at all this senselessness! It's fantastic!
I know I'm a little late to this discussion, but I'm actually dancing in my seat about all of this!
Danny Phantom? Hey Arnold? AHHH! Real Monsters! ROCKO!
My life is flashing before my eyes! And it's a good thing! I'm ecstatic! I'm over the moon! I'm still waiting for that pizza to get here...
I've been trying to find a DVD copy for just that reason.
I didn't really think the movie was anything really impressive, but it does arguably have the most fearsome Muppet villain of all time.
Holy bricks! YOU did the packaging graphics for the Lego games? (I'd love to say that I made one of my astounding and prophetic comparison connections here, but that would be a blatant lie.)
In other news, it's nice to finally be able to see all of the painstaking little details in your...
Zeppo: Three cheers for Prawnie!
*The chairs start flying*
Zeppo: I said 'Cheers!' not 'Chairs!'
*The chairs stop flying*
LockJaw: Wait, does this mean that it's over?
Zeppo: Yep.
*JINGLEJINGLEJINGLEJINGLE*
Leeway: What in the world is that?
*I leap into the theater wearing a...
LockJaw: I must say, I didn't see it coming.
Zeppo: The tie?
LockJaw: No, someone winning an award for fan-fiction.
*Norman the Really Big Sheep totters in and sits on LockJaw*
LockJaw: I mean, hooray for Slackbot and Toga! You can let me up now!
Norman: Nooooo!
Zeppo: A big hand for those who support those who support the Muppets!
*The large hand smashes Zeppo flat*
LockJaw: Who saw that coming? Raise your hands!
