Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I gotta say I am surprised that no one has commented on having watched these yet! I bought it moments after it was released and have seen it in stores here as well that would usually never carry Muppet movies! (Of course I moved it to the front and centre of the video piles, I am a good fan :P)...
Gosh yes, yes yes! Not only are the extended shows 100% better than the original ones aired, but also there's a ton of fun behind the scenes (NOT of the Muppeteers behind the scenes, but of the Muppets behind the scenes...bloopers and all that.)
I do think that it is a good question, I've always wondered who records the Music that the EM play. Is it one specific band that is used more of the time? or do they use random bands? Who plays Rowlf's genius piano, or Animals fab (and hilarious) drums? I think it's a cool question worth asking...

Here’s the funniest thing that may have ever happened in my life. We’re sitting there during that kind of a situation… Imagine this moment… It’s just the lowest point in all of our lives. We’ve just been told that Jim has died. It’s like somebody’s punched us in the chest. All of a...

*agrees with Dr Tooth's assessment SO much* The question really really should be asked, even if this whole screenplay was 100% true, why would we want to see it? Why would we want everyone to see it? What would it ADD to his legacy? What would it take away from it?
Piggy and Link...(Yes, I know it's off topic) I could see her marrying him in a dark alternate future, but only in order to make Kermit jealous, not because she loves him. Link? Really? *shudder*
Mr Foobly, sir, you are also totally write...forget fact verification, the script itself is just...
I'd love to have seen her sat knitting in the back of the EM bus in the Muppet Movie, just knitting away making Hilda-ha-ha's while everyone else is out confronting Doc Hopper.
Or taking a back seat and watching the bruhaha of the finale in the Great Muppet Caper while everyone else threw...
