Ever wonder how weird it is in the album Bert & Ernie's Sing Along (1975) that no one...not Ernie, Big Bird, Herry, Gordon, Maria, Luis, or anyone...thinks twice about invading Bert's privacy while he's in the bathtub? They go right ahead with their singalong as if he's nothing more than chopped...

In the famous Fisher Price Sesame Street Little People line from 1975, there were only three adults made for the set: Susan, Gordon, and Mr. Hooper. To this day, I still wonder why the company never made figurines of Bob, Maria, David & Luis.
I remember that one...being a musician, I think it was an ad-libbed joke, because I recall Bob McGrath chuckling quite noticeably at that remark. Seems Caroll Spinney had a penchant for those kinds of references...in one SS episode where Slimey flies a plane, Oscar comments, "He's a regular...
One of the hippest, funkiest, and most daring bands out there today. Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem would dig this stuff.
:D: Hmmm...some very righteous music indeed!
:cool:: Diggin' the horns, man.
:flirt:: Like, I rully feel the guitar on this one, fer sure.
:sing:: And Mr. League is holding...
Whose Line: Scenes from a Hat (multiple editions)
Graffiti in the 'Whose Line' bathroom:
*Brad: 'Colin IS Here?' (looks up in surprise)

So...they won't show it because they're afraid of tarnishing the brand they've spent 45 years to establish? I'm not exactly sure how this episode could do that, but then again, nobody seems to remember much about the episode or want to remember it. Do you think that when the folks at Sesame...
I remember that one! Everyone was accusing Cookie Monster of stealing cookies when---for once---it actually wasn't him. I think Jerry Nelson played Cookie Hood in this one, and David Rudman was Cookie. From 2002 or 2003.
One that I remember was Super Grover's new cape (another early 2000s...
Or the one with Willy Wonka: Charlie, Grandpa Joe, Veruca Salt, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregard, Mike Teavee, and the Oompa Loompas!
Or the one with Kermit drinking tea: Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Beaker, Bunsen, Animal, the Swedish Chef, Statler and Waldorf, Rowlf, more dogs, pigs...
I'm back after finishing up school. Here's number 56.

(Re-posted from another old thread circa 2013)
Man...I'd have to narrow it down to 5 episodes (I haven't seen all 120, but here goes)
Season 1: Rita Moreno (loved the opening dance number, the panel discussion, and "Fever" with Animal)
Season 2: Elton John (the first full TMS episode I ever...
Drew Carey: Welcome to Whose Line Is It Anyway, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points don't matter, like the word "international" in "International House Of Pancakes."
Drew Carey: Welcome back to Whose Line Is It Anyway, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. Yep, they don't matter...just like Angelina Jolie's morning breath.
Buffy was also on the show years before my time, but it's clear how much she enjoyed working with the Muppets & cast members. I'm still not sure whom she had the best chemistry with, in terms of humans & Muppets. She seemed to be teamed with Olivia, David, Luis, and Maria the most, as well as...
Great point. Songs like "Subway" or "Some, None, All" perfectly support that. I lost track of how many different Anything Muppets and Monsters were in each one. Even some more familiar faces like Cookie Monster, Herry, Bert, and Kermit appear, if I recall.
Well...not too odd, considering that Michael Frith originally designed Janice as a Mick Jagger-type character, right down to the large mouth and "utterly emaciated" body. I was pretty spooked out when I first saw it, and I'm really glad that instead, Janice became the guitar-shredding valley...
