Was driving around the city today to take a break and enjoy life, and went to a nearby suburb, where I saw something I usually wouldn't expect in the area...a live chicken.
You can't forget the Beginner Book Videos that came out in about 1989 or so. You know, the ones where the illustrations were animated and had three stories per video? Jim Thurman did voices for those among other people.
I used to watch the video with Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat...
The weather's been actually pretty good this week. Most of this week it's been sunny and decent temperature, save for Wednesday. Last weekend it was predicted we would get thunderstorms yesterday and Wednesday, but it didn't happen after all. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and decent again, so...
Heck yeah, I loved that one! Pretty much every Keith Haring segment on the show from the early 90s was awesome, including this one. I found out a long while ago that the place this was filmed in was a Boys Club of NYC building, which unfortunately got torn down about 10 years ago. The mural was...
Meh, I dunno. At least Ryan Seacrest is hosting again. I'm surprised Lionel Richie is judging this season, but Simon still deserves a break (no offense, but he's had enough time being associated with the show, IMO).
You're welcome. :-)
Kind of interesting to see who's performing what in those bumpers. Joey's obviously the penguin, and sounds like Marty is doing the comedian.
I'll bet the ?? was denoting "The Sound of Silence." :p
For me, on the way home this evening, I was at an intersection with the stoplights completely off, and so there actually was a stop sign propped in the middle. Don't know how or why that happened, but treating a stoplight intersection...
That's what you get when you have obsessive people who don't entirely grasp the concept of respect. If you don't know how to handle them well, obsessions can be dangerous.
And yeah, it's kind of sad when you're like the holy grail to some fans, because they'll definitely want a whole bunch out...
Yeah, I've pretty much always been a console person...never was that into Game Boy stuff, even though I still have a Color and Advance from long ago. Playing on a TV screen was better than on a handheld device.
There was also Clash of the Titans, based off the EEnE episode "Tag Yer Ed!"
I'm going to guess it was these two...?
I remember it took me a long time to get past the last stage in Cavern Raid, which thankfully the game had level passcodes to get back to. I never beat Rave Slaves unfortunately, but I liked the premise and the graphics.
I've actually never played that one, but yep, the intro screen gives it away as one of those old downloadable games from way long ago.
The only Cow and Chicken games I remember were Bus Stop Blitz, the Christmas in July one, and if counting I Am Weasel, Beat the Heat. That one was nonstop fun.
Yeah, that's just the way it is. With how long the show's been going, the old-timers are going to have to move on at some point.
I do hope Caroll can stick around for the 50th season. Not only would that be a tremendous accomplishment for him, but also for the whole television industry. Very...
Yeah, that's correct. It's like with "Monster in the Mirror" - all the celebrities in the video are wearing the same exact clothing as in the individual spots they filmed for that season. Season 27 had the same scenario, except it was the Alphabet Song that year.
I know it's been posted on YT before, and there's probably still some video of it there. For a few years it was on TheOKWhattimeisit's channel (or however it's spelled), but then it was taken down around a year ago...you can probably figure out why.
I'm not entirely afraid of them either, largely in part because my bedroom as a little baby was decorated with clowns and circus stuff my mom got. I was kinda brought up to have a positive view of clowns, so I don't get scared by them easily. Except maybe Pennywise.
1) Yeah, too dark.
2) Because it's acceptable in Japan? IDK.
3) Uh, wow. That's just...ugly.
4) That image is actually from deviantART originally. How this got on eBay though, I cannot fathom.
