Aaaargh! I missed it! I took a shower and thought the tape was recording but it didn't!:( If I had only waited 10 minutes longer...
It was last year's stuff, eh? Ah well, it'll be on Youtube I suppose. I'll have to search for it...:search:

Hey everyone!
Rizzo MIGHT be appearing on the Jerry Lewis telethon (it just started on WGN). I just heard the announcer list the hosts. When he said "Tom Bergeron", they showed a little video insert with him talking to Rizzo. There was no sound, they just played the opening music over it...
(Shrugs). Coulda happened. Mr. Rogers was always on early afternoons for me (1:30, 2:00). Why they showed that one episode in the evening, I'll never know. Maybe someone meant to put in the "Masterpiece Theater" or "Nova" tape and put in Mr. Rogers instead!:insatiable:

So, according to you, the Snuffy divorce episode aired in your area, huh? Depending on where you live, someone could've snuck a bootleg copy of it and put it on the air.
You also said it was played at some weird time in the afternoon...outside of your regular Sesame Street time slot? My PBS...
Uncle Wally did, too. Even though he didn't see Snuffy in the old days, he did say that he saw other Snuffle-upaguses while he was traveling.

You still got that woman's phone number or email? If so, feel absolutely free to forward my post above to the editorial staff as well.
And just for the record, there has been a quality coffee table book about the Muppets. "Of Muppets and Men; the Making of the Muppet Show".
Fraggle Rock...
Cancelled...
WHAT?
NO!
I was all set to pre-order THREE of those books right off the bat! Fraggle Rock is a masterpiece made by artists and geniuses! Give these guys some credit, will you, publishers? There IS an audience for Fraggle merchandise! Do we need to show you bare shelves at...
Well, I dunno, Fozzie. With the Disney buyout, the definition of "Muppet" has so many gray areas. The way I got it, the name "Muppet" is owned by Disney, but the name can be used for the non-Disney characters too. A Muppet in Disney's eyes is something found either in the Muppet Boarding...
I immediately thought the same thing. What's going on here?
What I wish would happen is for the Fraggle movie to get made (assuming it'll have a good, solid storyline faithful to the characters). This way, Disney may (hopefully) see that a Muppet project with just Muppets being Muppets can...
Well...as for the versions of "A Christmas Carol", there are two I always will love. One of course is the Muppet Christmas Carol. This is the most accurate "children's" version of the film out there. Everyone praises the Disney version...which is horribly innacurate, while Gonzo quotes...
Those were Jerry Juhl's words, not mine. I get you, though.
We just need some good Muppet writers working with the Disney crew working with the Muppeteers. Good cooperation can help the Muppets out a lot.
(Singing--"Cooperation makes it happen...cooperation, workin' together!...dig it!")...
Script...that's a key word, there. Writing is so important in the Muppets. Remember the story about Jerry Juhl in the room of Fraggle puppets? He said to the other writer with him: "Without us, these are just socks!"
Forget the search for the next American Idol. We need the search for the...
I'm just worried for Kermit's sake...and the rest of the gang. I've seen what's happened to Mickey's CGI "rennovation" and altering of the classic Disney characters. (Can't remember the name of the show, but it was very Dora the Explorer-like).
The age-old (often forgotten) truth about the...
As C3PO once said "I heartily agree with you, sir." That and your point about South Park (despite the constant critics' barrage of it being "crude") delivering brilliant messages.
If any of you have a chance to see this...please watch the South Park episode "Britney's New Look"...the ending...
Happy Birthday Dave!
:concern: and  have been two of my favorite Muppets as long as I can remember. Thanks for everything and have a wonderful birthday!
(Blows "Happy Birthday" on the jug, à la Wendell Porcupine).

Me, too!
If he goes out to eat to celebrate his birthday, I hope he gets better service than Fat Blue!
Happy Birthday Mr. Nelson, and as Gobo once said: "Thanks...thanks for everything!":smirk:

Well, think about it, guys. Imagine you're a Muppeteer, one of the best there is and one that's been working since the mid 1960s on countless projects. After all those years of being in the spotlight and after all that work, wouldn't you want some rest and privacy?
I got a card from Jerry in...
The signs are real? Weird. It just looks so Photoshopped.
Again, it's this "Newer is always better--especially with computer animation" attitude nowadays. Also, there's so much animated stuff for kids out there now, Sesame Street has to compete with the Dora the Explorer/Blues Clues-fare...
I hope the original prints are still intact! Good grief. If SW is just pitching the unedited ones in the trash saying "eh, who needs these", my reaction is the same as your Roy Rooster avatar.
I think why they ruined those clips with extra SFX is just to get kids' attention more...maybe...
