I can finally get involved with this thread, having finally seen the movie at an early screening...
Honestly, its gunna take me a few days to pull together my thoughts about the movie because wow...it had so many layers of incredible. I'm looking forward to going through this thread to see...
I had a mind-blowingly good time at the premiere today! I feel so lucky to have met up with some MC people while I was there (Hi Chris and Leanne! Now I can *finally* connect your names to your MC avatars) and honestly this has been one of the best days of my life. On the 4 hour coach trip home...
I don't think Sam's family were mentioned anywhere else...in fact, I've always believed that whole interaction may have been Jim and Frank improving anyway! Its just so off the cuff and hilarious. "Boy or a girl?" "Yes..."
Hmm...I guess not, although in the movie it is dilapidated a bit so maybe its the burnt out one? Oh, there's a picture here from the movie set: http://www.toughpigs.com/set-photos-1/ so I guess that COULD be the burnt one?
I know, right!? But, wait, isn't the bus in the new movie??? I'm sure I saw a picture of it somewhere at the studio. Is it the burnt out bus, or did they somehow recreate it?
Oooh!!! I agree, standing ovation! *applauds and stamps feet merrily at the superb, genuine and heartfelt ending* More review to follow when my mind is less tired. For now, clapping!
"loads of laundry"
I know you meant "washing machine loads" "of laundry", but I just read it as: "spending my day tucked up between loads of laundry". Just thought I'd share that thought.
I think *all* writers are sadomasochistic when it comes to writing things that make them silently weep...(Have you met Lisa/TogetherAgain? She's heartless when it comes to bringing characters down, in order to bring them back up again in a finally uplifting fashion).
Hey, Karin, welcome to the board (not the surfboard...that would be ridiculous, there's only room for one! *splash*) Okay, well, welcome to the board! Experimental fanfiction (i.e. Slash) is of course welcome here, but you must be prepared (as I'm sure you are!) to see it either criticized or...
Oh but I SO can blame you because you practically forced me into it by talking about my having written out meticulously transcribed mental images of Steve Whitmere as an ice cream man in front of these poor, highly impressionable young members! Their poor minds will be scared for life, and it's...
If there were any science projects in the SWAEHB thread, honestly, I dread to think what they might have come up with...(Cloning would be nice though, so that we could each have our own personal SWB to A...wait, what???!)
Hmmm...bagels...Did we leave some cream cheese in that thread too? Because if we did, I'm heading over there. I'm hungry. (Although its beginning to look like there's plenty of Muffins in this particular thread...)
Things that should be passed on to the next generation are things like wisdom, respect for wildlife and family recipes that make no sense because at some point the pages got stuck together and no one noticed...not so much the semi-stalkerish behavior of their forfathers around celebs. (also...
I certainly *will* shatter your left foot (pardon the imagery) if that will make you stop spreading such terrible rumors about my having created mental images of Steven Whitmere...wait...did you even mention that? (Also, doesn't your left foot belong to someone else?)
It's been a while...but, hey, what the heck, I'm still up for updating from time to time...

To say the coach back to the boarding house was crowded would be an understatement, and if there was one thing that the Mupets were known for it wasn't their subtly. Muppets were stuffed...
