Oh no, yes, I agree with you that he has feeling for her! But that doesn't make him less evil as a villian in my opinion... The movie does a good job of pitting his way of reacting to being in love with here against Kermit's way of reacting to being in love with her.
The Muppet villains have...
Yes, but did you see how SCARED Piggy was of him in the changing room scene? That alone made me really dislike him. He didn't know when to stop, at all.
For me, it's always been Rachel Bitterman because she actually managed to make Kermit stop believing...none of the others really got under his...
Oh yes, Pepe looks fantastic with them there! Walter's slightly bent plush mouth totally reminded me of the scream-scene when I saw him at the Disney store, but I love him so much that I'll allow it.
I will almost certainly be attending the Manchester screening on the 5th (will book tickets later this week), so if there are any Manchesterian Muppet fans who do want to meet up, get in touch! There's nothing (NOTHING) better than watching this new movie in the company of great fans.
I picked up some really nice key-rings with a metalic painted Kermit and Miss Piggy. Not overly practical as key-rings (turns out Kermit's collar is quite painful when in mental and in pocket) but I'm planning to attach them to a chain to wear instead.
I'm kicking myself for not picking up...
Trafford Centre! That's right by me. They once played the Swedish Chef Popcorn thing on a huge screen in the dining area there. Wonder if I can get it off work...
Does anyone else live near Manchester and fancy a meet up?
Mmhmmm! In Muppets From Space when he goes to the spaceship without a second thought for his chicken friend(s)! Hehe. (Guess that's more proof that its an alternate universe Gonzo...)
OH! I honestly thought I was the only fan who felt this way about that! I actually found the Maniacal Laugh funnier when I was seeing it as a "actions as dialouge" type gag, rather than a deeper part of his personality.
I also think the 'hates Muppets because bullied as child" is A. disturbing...
Hmm...the Rizzo thing I'm not too concerned about at this stage. If he doesn't show up in the next movie I'd get considerably worried. But I do agree that there were plenty of characters without adding Rizzo/Pepe. (The use of Pepe here was STUNNING though! But I would have enjoyed to see the...
I agree about Sarah's part seeming really odd (it was less funny than Bob Hope in TMM, and that's saying something). But part of Sarah's humour has always been saying something normal and it sounding really mean, which is kinda what she did here. Ish.
However, I was focusing more on the...
Maybe it helped that I already knew that scene was cut from reading here, but I honestly didn't feel like it was missing...Although someone who said that the bowling-ball scene at the end should have been cut before he started laughing and then gone straight to the hospital clip.
I woke up this...
Another point that I will disagree with people on is where people suggest that "We Built This City" should have been a Muppet musical number. Now, I LOVE Muppet musical numbers (everyone breaking out into Cabin Fever in MTI is simply THE BEST) but, these Muppets were all pretty broken at that...
One thing that I want to say in response to a few posts from the first page is that to me (from just one viewing, I may change my mind later) I didn't feel that the movie was as 'hacked up, with pieces littering the cutting room floor' as people seem to suggest. If we didn't know those scenes...
