    Herry with a BLUE nose!

Herry with a blue and fuzzy nose looks so weird. When he'd look straight at the camera, it looked like he had no nose at all. I miss that original look.

Little Bird-was it really he or she?

I'm not sure that being performed by a female muppeteer necessarily means that the character has to be female. Remember that Rocky of the cartoon Bullwinkle was male but voiced by a female. In any case, I do know that Little Bird was called "he" on a record, but I've never heard the character...

    Sonny Friendly?

I actually recall a very early skit where Sonny Friendly was just Guy Smiley by another name. Then the in the 80's came the new muppet with the name.

    Sesame Street History

Also, the statement "David dies" is technically incorrect. The actor who played him, Northern Calloway, died, but the character moved to live on his grandmother's farm.

How big was Kermit's role on Sesame Street?

:) And I recall a street segment where Kermit was ill and Susan had him lie on the window. He complained, "I'm bored." He also interacted with Big Bird and a child in "Christmas Eve On Sesame Street."

How much do you think the average SESAME STREET actor gets paid?

Roscoe Orman began Sesame Street while he was playing an abusive criminal on the soap opera All My Children. He knew that one had to go and he wisely decided to stay on Sesame Street. Friendly neighbors on children shows tend to last longer than violent bad guys on soaps.

    Sesamestreet Records

I've found many at my local thrift stores. It can take a while to flip through all of those records though. Then there's always eBay.

    Where is Herry Monster now?

Today Herry Monster still has his regular purple nose, but it's mashed in like he got in a fight or something. I don't know why they made this change.

    Kingston Livingston

I'm not sure exactly why, but I sure think he was a poor substitute for the classic Roosevelt Franklin.

Sesame regulars in Bert and Ernie's appartment

There was an old skit where Big Bird went into Ernie and Bert's apartment and put his head through their ceiling. I haven't seen this skit in over 25 years and I don't remember a lot of the details, but it was Ernie's idea to bring Big Bird in. This action was met with numerous protests by...
