Flowing locks? I've always thought of Fraggle hair more as fluffballs. Sorry, but Scooter's stuck with yarnlike dreadlocks, even for his baloobius. There are some constants in the universe. But at least he gained eyeballs. Hmm, should his fur be orange or green?
I never do get Boober's...
Thanks, guys! It's been a little while since I perpetrated a doodle dump, hasn't it? Well, that winning streak is at an end.
Not 'nother stinkin' doodle dump: Scribbles based on my current story-in-progress, Brothers and Sisters, plus some random stuff.
In the drag community, it's considered proper to refer to someone's drag persona as the gender they're assuming rather than their physical gender. Thus, RuPaul and Divine would be 'she', not 'he'.
Just sayin'.
Oop, you're right. I tend to think of this episode and "The River of Life" together, and I think I blended the titles. I'm pretty bad with the titles of FR episodes in general, though.
That episode, BTW, supports my premise that the geography of the Rock actually changes in response to the...
Fraggle Rock passes with flying colors, as Red and Mokey talk all the time, and is it ever about men?
I love to hear references to this litmus test. I've been a fan of D2Wo4 ever since the early strips, and I have a set of the books.
Alas, as far as I know the Fraggles won't be on The Hub any longer. Not that it matters to me personally, as I don't get that or any other non-broadcast channel. I watch FR on DVD. But, still, I want the Fraggles to have TV exposure.
At least I own real, legal DVDs of FR. Those are...
Oh, OK. I didn't get it because it's spelled p a r k o u r, pronounced pahr-kooer (well, not really, but you can't phoneticize French very accurately for English speakers) so the connection wasn't obvious to me. And, heh, yes, Skeeter and Red would be common-law in-laws. I think they'll get...
Finally, the chapter you've all been waiting for, the Battle of the Redheads!

Part 10: The Great Traceurs

It was a cool and pleasant morning. Fraggles were messing around in the Great Hall, working up to the day’s scheduled frolic...
[Janken Fraggle walks up as Slackbot is about to bite into the muffin. He looks at the muffin like a cat looks at a tuna fish sandwich.]
Slackbot: Want a bite?
Janken: Please?
Slackbot: Then do your trick.
Janken: [sighs, looks at the muffin, then makes up his mind. He crosses his...
I would support that wholeheartedly. With two separate sections people could home in on what they want--people who like fan art may not give a toss about fic--and threads would not scroll off the page so fast. The one problem I see would be that sorting thousands of old threads would be a beast...
*chuckle* I never thought of linking Doc to Bunsen, but it makes sense. This was a fun little read, and it made good use of characters who are all to often ignored in fanfic. Thanks!
This makes perfect sense to me, both to simplify your workload and to give people an incentive to finish their stories. Personally, I don't bother with the unfinished and abandoned stories section anyhow, as I find stories without endings frustrating. If people are eager to get their stories...
Red would certainly have her own style, that's for sure. I think she'd go nuts if she had to be a full-time mother, especially since Poncle is one of those kids who acts like she's on a permanent sugar rush. However, Poncle has five parents and and older sister who all want to play their part...
Here's an illo for Chapter 6 of Brothers and Sisters...
Anything Mama Red can do, Poncle can do too! With a little help.
This is a quick Sharpie drawing. It's been hard for me to draw lately. My inking pens scare me. When I get to that state it helps to loosen up with ballpoint pens...
