Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
The deleted scenes had that 'real life', independent movie edge to them, while the movie was mostly glossy and colorful. Sometimes things can look TOO good.
That said, I really cannot spare many bad words for this movie.
I would add, "I wish I Could Be Santa Clause" in there as well, because that is a very sad song.
But for me, its Saying Goodbye that gets me EVERYTIME that I hear the opening music.
I got two more meat people when I started an introduction thread. I'm followed about my Lamb Joint Man and Pork Loin Lady to this day...(Lies!)

I wonder if it has something to do with the emphasis being placed on the 'wrong' word in a sentence, "You want to GIVE us the MONEY?" (Sweetums), "I can't seem to wipe THIS smile off my face," (Uncle Deadly), "SUP-er Grover!" (Super Grover).
Because these sentences are just normal things to...
I do not know what you know and you know *waits for further hints* but I will say that the Muppets may just need to be a little more financially stable and established before any risks can be taken...and if the writers of The Muppets can get them to a place where they can successfully do...

Please note, I do get very, very heated on the One...
I'm not sure that I do know what you mean ;), actually. Are you seriously hinting that Kermit and the entire Muppet brand should have been retired when Jim Henson dead? Buried with him, so to speak?
Steve's done him for 22 solid years now...Bringing out some sort of impressionists for...
Sorry for double posting, but I had another thought...
Miss Piggy at the Baftas was a fantastic, funny, hilarious piece recently. Eric has really got the guts to start taking on celebrities and hamming it up to the camera.
Imagine if they had decided instead to send someone else there with the...
Honestly, the big deal was not about Artie's performance of Kermit. It was about ANYONE other than the main performer, performing him. Kermit's characterization in interviews, talk-show appearances, etc, is SO strong right now because there is a LONG history between performer and character, many...
I find that when Uncle Deadly, Bobo or Miss Poogy speak, they can be saying almost anything and it sounds funny, like there should be a pause after what they say for laughter -- regardless of whether it is really very funny.
