LOVE!
And also, having read the originally pitched script, my feelings are, "This movie could have been a lot WORSE!" I think that Jason, Bobin, the good folks behind the scenes at Disney, Pixar writers and probably Muppet-insider-on-staff-writers managed to make a revolutionary Muppet movie...
Hehe. I just thought he said, "So we've been told!" and then laughed for no reason. I felt it was totally out of character! I should have trusted them...tsk tsk...
The other joke that I didn't hear was Fozzie's "Oil bet that hurt!" -- I was like, Why is he suddenly laughing at Fozzie just...
True, but that's easy for us to say now, having seen the final result.
I tried to imagine myself reading it without having any other information about the project and I know it would have made me very annoyed to imagine anyone making it into an actual movie.
Compare the Miss Piggy here to the...
Any download can be harmful, but I've downloaded it and it seems to be fine.
I shall be giving this script a good read later! From the clips I've read, it certainly needs work, but I can't wait to see it! Parts of it remind me of Muppet Man...which i am NOT a fan of though (Grey-haired Gonzo)...
Haha! You should do that. I bet Tim Curry...I mean...Long John Silver took him. Poor Clueless! My friend who knows very little else of the Muppets often quotes his, "What was that song that just happened?" line and his little confused face.
*crying* Please don't cancel Friends with Beverages (as I prefer to call it, since I can't quite bring myself to say "Cougar Town" out loud). Oh please don't let this happen!
*ahem*

Scroll down for the uncut script!
Here is the uncut script. I think the reason the script seemed so choppy in the original episode is that the premise of ThatAnnouncer playing Vic (and not turning up) was taken out in editing, so its unclear...
Hehe. Well, no reason not to have Jim (as Rowlf sees him) have a little chat with him mano-a-dogo (ala Kermit and Kermit TMM) and have him rejoin the gang to discuss their favorite Jim memories... Of course, it may be too soon for him to do that, but I dunno...I could see him making it.
I too...
I was always a big fan of Mildred Huxater P.D.F., but I don't quite know how she would fit into today's world without seeming like a posh, rich, out of contact old woman. Which she totally was NOT. Librarian and adventurer, she had such a wicked sense of humur. Aww...Now I remember why I used to...
Just a few thoughts, based on my understanding of Rowlf. He's a very laid back Dog, so laid back that he describes his life as nice and simple in TMM, he's in a hammock in The Muppets and he always describes himself as "the dog that plays the piano."
Now, as interesting (fun?) as it may be to...
Hmm...I felt that the Bafta thing and the Scooter at the TED conference things were really stuff they would do just because they are part of the collective pop consciousness again, rather than specifically movie promoting, to be honest.
Rachel was more evil, to me, because she SUCCEEDED in making Kermit give up, where Richman didn't really manage. I do wonder what would have happened to Kermit if Dani-el hadn't appeared though. I'm guessing that eventually Piggy would have gone out to get him and taken over the situation...
Back when she was prepared to be a coffee pig just to get on TV, then maybe she would have hit rehab if it had made her more famous....But the whole 'rehab for publicity' thing is actually well over now, and when people go there, its more damaging than healthy for their careers.
Plus, Piggy...
