I think The Jim Henson Hour was some of his best work. Additionally, Muppet Family Christmas, Fraggle Rock, The Storyteller (not the Greek Myths, the originals) and Labyrinth were all genious and magical. Even Tale of the Bunny Picnic and Muppet Babies are better than most of the stuff churned...

I think it looks a little kiddiefied too. I'm trying to keep optimistic but I see it being as bad as Muppet Classic Theatre, or worse. Still though, if Henson markets this properly, this is the perfect project to target to soccer moms and thus help younger children who don't have a Muppet...

Agreed, more volumes would be fantastic, but the only way a license for a product is going to continue is if you buy what they make available for you. While Time-Life has made it known that they do not wish to continue their line, this doesn't mean that Henson might not contract with somebody...

The word as of a few weeks ago is that they were planning on issuing the current volumes 11-15 on DVD by the end of the summer. These are the same 11-15 that were released on VHS. It was confirmed however that they would not be continuing the line of Muppet Show videos beyond their 15...
