Yes, Nader has done important work in the past and he should stick with what he knows. Currently, Mr. Nader is making this world a more dangerous place by possibly causing Bush's re-election. JMO
If you don't want Bush to win, you don't want to vote for Nader. Nader can't win, but if he takes enough votes away from Kerry, he can cause Bush to be re-elected.
It's interesting to hear of all the strong feelings associates with this film. I was always kind of indifferent to it and thought it was one of their duller skits. Then again, there were other skits that scared me that others may not be able to relate to. I think it depends on the child.
I remember that one. I don't recall the V standing for Violin, but I do remember that they had X stand for Xylophone instead of an animal. I always thought that was kind of strange since they DO have animals whose names begin with X. (And V too).
I don't remember many of the words, but here's a little bit that I recall:
Herman: I'm very, very happy..
Stanley: I'm very, very sad...
Both: We're just about as different as polka dots and plaid...
Stanley: 'Cause he's so doggone happy...
Herman: And he's so gosh darn sad...
