And then the guests just kept coming! Julie Andrews, Bob Hope, John Cleese, and Peter Sellers ALL came in after Sir Elton...and that was just season 2! "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is a masterpiece, and the Muppet performers and house band really did a fine arrangement of it. No gags, no jokes...
Watching my Muppet Show Season 2 DVDs! Tonight I'm watching the episodes with Elton John, Lou Rawls, Julie Andrews, and Peter Sellers...four of the best episodes in my opinion.
Number 235 features Big Bird, Snuffy, Oscar, Herry Monster, David, Susan, Gordon, Mr. MacIntosh, and...Grandma Harriet! Plus, Ernie and Bert attempt to share slices of pie, Cookie Monster performs a disco number, and Kermit reports on the Three Little Pigs.

Welp...I did it. I made it through 3 months of online teaching to my elementary band students! Time to kick back and relax.
(Although there's no confirmed plan for reopening schools just yet...but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. That's the state's decision, not mine.)
Number 234 is a rare Season 3 outline featuring Big Bird, Oscar, Farley, the Mudman, Maria, Gordon, Tom, and Rafael! Plus, Kermit talks about the importance of hair, Harvey Kneeslapper's practical joke backfires, and Ernie digs for treasure inside his own apartment!

I've said it before, but Chris Cerf was an AMAZING singer! I never get tired of hearing his lead vocals..."Count It Higher," "Exit," "Born to Add," "One Way," "Raise Your Hand," "Eight Balls of Fur," etc. All classic Sesame Street songs!
I also listened to "The Impression That I Get" (the Mighty Mighty Bosstones), "Spiderwebs" (No Doubt), and "Ants Marching" (Dave Matthews Band). Just enjoying a good mix of 1990s and 2000s music!
Number 228 features Big Bird, Oscar, Mumford, the Count, Susan, and Gordon! Plus, Grover helps five people into an elevator, Ernie has an important note for Bert, and Bob and Maria sing, "Three of These Things."

I listened to the Tough Pigs "Cabin Fever" interviews with Dylan Postle and Brian Jay Jones, and they were really really amazing! Thanks to Joe and Ryan for the great interviews. Now it's time to listen to the ones with Katie Cook, Craig Shemin, and Christopher Cerf...
If that's true, then that is straight-up ******** behavior. That's like having Tom Kenny voice Spongebob Squarepants for a movie and then refusing to invite him to the premiere.
