Try FAO Shwartz. I picked up a "Kermit Collection" Kermit puppet from one on Long Island in 2000. They had a few up until right about the time the store in my area went out of business last year. If you have a FAO Shwartz nearby, give it a try.
Cleese: I am not going to do some (????) Morrocan solo!
Kermit: Well, it doesnt have to be a solo. Comon guys!
(various Muppet monsters and pigs surround Cleese)
Cleese: There is no way that I'll do a song!
Monsters: (singing) There is no way that he'll do a song!
Cleese: Stop this at...
I was watching the end of the Muppet Movie today and I have two quick questions I've been dying to ask.
1) Has anyone ever made a complete list of all the Muppets that appear in that huge group shot with the rainbow at the end of the movie?
2) Okay, during the end credits the characters...
So guys, what are your favorite moments featuring, as he'd put it, "The Beloved Marvin Suggs-uh!!"
My personal favorite Marvin Suggs moments was in the episode when he suddenly appears on stage in place of Rowlf, who we later find out that Suggs locked in his dressing room. The guest star (I...
My question: would they REALLY go out of their way to specifically photograph Snoop Dog with JUST Electric Mayhem members if they WERENT going to be in the TV special?
I've got a feeling that Rowlf is going to be in the special. If Janice and Dr Teeth are in it too, it's gonna blow me away...
I think my favorite Animal moment in any song is from "Little Saint Nick" when, at the end, they all repeating, "Ooooo, Merry Christmas Santa." The last time they do this, you can hear Dr. Teeth, Janice and Floyd say, "Ooooo.." and then Animal says it about two seconds later, just the...
These two brief exhanges between Gonzo and Piggy (both from the John Denver & the Muppets Xmas CD) show why I love Gonzo..
Exchange #1
Piggy: ...this is what we're going to sing: Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat...
Gonzo: Nice.
Exchange #2
Gonzo: (singing) Now bring u...
I havent seen many episodes from the early seasons of the show, but I took "The Muppet Show Book" out of my college library on monday and several illustrations show Kermit's name written on his coffee cup.
In "Sex and Violence" Dr Teeth didnt have "live" hands. He had wires attached to his arms. That's really the only big difference.
Floyd had different eyes early on, and he was skinnier.
Gonzo came a long way during the 5 years the Muppet Show was on. He's still evolving, but not in a...
Thanks man, I appreciate it.
BTW. there's also an animated scene in Little Monster Monsters with Animal practicing gymnastics. Very weird. One scene I did like was with Fozzie (the real Fozzie) demonstrating the mechanics of a joke with the help of an animated chicken on a screen.
If anyone would like to see it, I've got one episode of Little Muppet Monsters. It's just about 97% complete and Cantus can back me up on that. Right, Cantus?
E-mail me, maybe we can work something out.
End advertisement.
Thanks man. I've watched it at least three times already. It's just a really fun special.
I've only watched John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together once though. It wasnt as good as I had hoped. Three things would have made this special better:
1) if Kermit had gotten to sing...
Re: Matt,
Hey guys. As the person who traded Matt the MFC tape in the first place, I can field this question.
The stocking scene takes place right after the last commercial break. Ma has hung a stocking over the fireplace and Fozzie complains, saying "I'm not a little cub anymore, Ma."...
After watching "Muppets at Walt Disney World" today, I had the BEST idea for a Beaker varient. BUCKET BEAKER! It would be Beaker with a bucket stuck to his head, wearing a big black wig with crude eyes drawn on the front of the bucket. The figure could come with a bottle of the Swedish Chef's...
What do you guys think of the 1990 special "Muppets at Walt Disney World"? I think it's a really good special, and a terrific final Henson performance. It's kinda weird seeing both Lips and Clifford together in the EM, though. In addition, I think it's most apparent in this special how much...
Ok, what gets to me...
Kermit facing Doc Hopper in TMM, with all his friends apearing behind him.
In TMM, Kermit talking to his conscience after "I'm Going to go Back There Someday"
"Saying Goodbye". Nuf said.
The wedding scene from TMTM when we see the principal classic characters...
I was so thrilled that Sweetums appeared all week when the Muppets were on Family Feud last year. He talked quite a bit, and it was the Sweetums we all knew and loved. This character is definitely back in action!
