Nice to meet you Michael. It's great to get to talk to someone here in the forum who had worked with Jim Henson. Do you still keep in contact with the company? I ask this because (I apologize to those who've heard me say this one too many times) I hope to land a job at Henson as a puppeteer...
That has got to be the stupidest thing that I've ever seen happen to Sesame Street in my entire life:mad: :grouchy: . Who would be dumb enough to create a t-shirt with the Muppets as gangsters :attitude: . I'm sure that all this probably took place in an urban school.
Thanks aaronmojo. I just checked out the website and it says that it runs from May 19 - September 4, so I should have plenty of time to see it. If I get there, I'll definitely be taking my camera and possibly my video camera. :halo: God bless the people at Henson. :)
The Bert and Ernie sketch that you guys are talking about was actually The Count's first appearance. Here's what happens in this bit. Ernie and Bert are on the brick wall set. Ernie has just made a block pyramid and tells Bert to make sure that nothing happens to them so that he can go and get...
I just hope that someone out there will upload something juicy soon. If anyone out there has any clips from shows, tv specials, or whatever, please feel free to put them up. If I could, I myself would try and put some stuff up.
I would like to find the programs from these shows:
- The Case of the Missing Rara Avis
- Big Bird's Super Spectacular Totally Amateur Show
- Sesame Jamboree
- Let's Play School
- Sleeping Birdie
If anyone knows where I might be able to find these, please let me know. Thanks :) .
Gee, uuuuuuuuhhhhhh. I don't know where I'll be able to find that at, seeing as how those copies are out of print:( . If it's all right with you, can I just send you some blank tapes instead? If this is all right with you, I'll give you a list of what I'm interested in. Please let me know...
I just looked at the website last night and found two great clips that have just been added; Cookie Monster singing "Don't Eat The Pictures" from the tv special of the same name, and Jim Henson's induction into the Television Hall of Fame from 1987. Looks like we've got more good stuff coming at...
I was just wondering if anybody out there knows where I might be able to find the programs from the first two Sesame Street Live shows and The Muppet Show On Tour. If anyone knows of a website, like ebay or whatever, that has them right now please let me know. Thanks alot. :)
Darnit. I wish I was there to see it :( , however, I would've felt so emotional seeing Jim all tied and gagged like that :sympathy: . Anyway, hopefully somebody out there will put it on Youtube.com.
Can't wait to see it Tim. I probably won't bid on anything since I've been spending a heck of a lot of money lately, though it would be very nice to see what you've got up for sale ;) . Could you give us a link please?
That's really cool Tonichelle. The stuff that I did with my group is definitely something that I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. What kind of songs did your group do?
i went on the teacups and Snow White, but I didn't get a chance to do Winnie the Pooh. If I'd known that you work there, I would have tried to look for you. Anyway, that is so cool that you work at Disney World. Who knows. Maybe you'll end up at MuppetVision 3D. ;)
