I think the camel bit is an inside joke from the movie. This interview was great because Frakes dives into the current state of Piggy and Animal, and he also shares his thought about Eric Jacobson wich I don't think I've ever heard him talk about before.

There is something to also keep in mind here. They are not longer Jim Henson's Muppets, they are Disney's Muppets. It's obvious that Disney has a completely different vision and direction then Jim and the ones he worked with (Steve Wh8tmiere and Frank Oz) have. So I just don't see Frank coming...

The chances of that are slom to none. You make it seem like it was all Steve's fault the show failed. Which is completely and uddry wrong and stupid.

I really like how they decided not to completely hide the performers. It makes it more authentic to me.
