Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Cool, once I got to Disc Four, I watched that same clip as an Easter Egg on my considerably larger TV screen, so it was even better.
Although, I found another clip on YouTube entitled "Baby Actor Has a Meltdown" which isn't one of the listed 'Dino-Eggs' on the DVD sets. BUT, a couple of quick...
The scene in Muppet Family Christmas when Kermit and Robin find a Fraggle Hole in Ma Bear's cellar would support this approximation. I always thought Fraggles would have been a lot smaller than regular Muppets, for some reason (possibly to make the Gorgs seem even more massive), but once you see...
Name that episode!

Dearth
I'm the same way when I pose my Sweetums... if I pose him with his mouth open, his right arm must dangle limp at his side. If I pose him with the right arm up, the mouth must close.
Dearth
I didn't catch the Rivers/Oceans connection at first, but I do remember chuckling the first time I saw the name "William Mummy" in print, because it reminded me of Billy Mumy.

The exhibit in Atlanta sounds awesome, and apparently they're planning a Henson Wing as a permanent addition. I swapped emails with one of the curators yesterday, sounds pretty interesting.
I just wish these museums allowed photos and video. The Mississippi Museum of Art did not allow it...
Well, why would a hedgehog bother with a shirt? It would just get torn to shreds. So, wearing "just pants" isn't so much a fashion choice as a practical consideration.
And if you're kinda roly-poly, then something with galluses/suspenders would be required to keep the pants up, right? So...
I was browsing some info on the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta after someone mentioned it in another thread, and they've got a Strangepork and a Link on display there.

This isn't necessarily a mistake, but I was watching the Marty Feldman episode the other day and something kept nagging at me about Sweetums... then I realized his eyes weren't moving.
I don't know if it was a dead battery or not enough puppeteers to go around or what, but once you notice it...
THANK YOU!
I have been trying to remember which episode this was in for a couple of months now.
I kept thinking the guest host was a blonde female... can't tell you how many times I've checked 'Teresa Brewer' looking for the Kermit-eye-on-Animal!
I've even Googled it, but couldn't find...
Hi Aritario,
I've seen those chain bases before, and was very tempted to get some to make a Star Tours hangar for my small StarSpeeder 3000.
But in this case, I just don't think the scale works with the Muppets. The details are so small and so intricate, you can 'feel' that they're designed...
I haven't been to Leland (yet), but when I attended the "Jim Henson's Fantastic World" exhibit at the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson, MS back in March, they did have some "Leland, Birthplace of Jim Henson" t-shirts on sale in the gift shop.
I don't know where the JHFW exhibit is...
Hard to believe, but true. But, hey, I would feel a little depressed on the day that I realized I had seen everything Jim Henson had ever done, so let's celebrate the fact that there are still treasures out there to be discovered.
So, here's some thoughts... at the beginning of the movie, the...
I finally bought a Beaker to round out my Mega Muppets, so here he is with regular Bunsen in a little pre-Muppet Movie vignette which I like to call "Sadly Temporary"...
I got some custom fodder Muppets in the mail via eBay, and one of them was an Invisibility Spray Fozzie... so I wondered what he would look like being TOTALLY invisible, like before his trip to the little bear's room...
Got the Cleese album cover sized, printed as one continuous image, and cut out with the tabs to fold down and glue:

And after it...
