Anyone this lucky? Back when I had basic cable we had a station called PSB ThinkBright which I believe is only available in New York state. I remember a couple times seeing some classic Sesame Street episodes although I'm fuzzy as to when they came on. It was kind of interesting to flip through...
One monster i will identify for now is Billy. He is the small pink monster in the background in C is for Cookie. That one might be good for people to know as I have seen some people confused as to who that monster was.
Well maybe I titled it wrong. What I meant was, that these monsters were used as background characters or minor characters but on rare occassions they were given a name and some evolved into characters we know today, like Cookie Monster, Grover, Elmo, Telly, Baby Natasha, and Ingrid (Baby...
Below is a list of AM Monsters that have appeared on Sesame Street in the early years. It is not necessarily a complete list as I have only listed monsters that have been given names.
Also, I know Mahna Mahna (Bip Bippadotta) isn't a monster, but I listed him anyway because he is a rather...
A good example of that is the spanish version of the abcd blue monsterpiece theater sketch. when they sing the alphabet song, they had to match the tune and the ended up skipping the letter i.
I know that Sprout plays Play with Me Sesame. However, are they still showing classic clips on the show? I've been trying to catch it but I always get sidetracked or I'm at work. If anyone knows if they still show classic clips and can provide a list of clips they have recently shown, that'd be...
I got this movie recorded on an old video. It was an old video of christmas specials and other stuff. I believe the movies i have on it are The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, Big Bird in Japan, some Garfield Christmas special and some California Raisins christmas...
I got an old clip recorded on a video from Plaza Sesamo which has a the purple live-hand anything muppet talking about sqaures and cookie monster is in the sketch. it appears to be a very early skit possibly from the 60s or 70s. i had asked about this sketch a long time ago back when MC was...
Oh I also thought it was worth mentioning (unless someone before me has already mentioned it but I browsed through the thread and didnt see it menitoned) that the users NantoVision and mstatz have quite a lot of vintage Sesame Street clips on their pages. Wonder if any of those users are members...
Sorry for taking so long to post on here. Been going through alot lately. If anyone is interested in downloading these clips and wants to save them as mpeg, avi, or any other popular video format, visit http://www.catchvideo.net and enter the youtube url into where it tells you and select the...
Any of you guys get WNED ThinkBright? recently one of my public access channels changed to WTB and I usually catch Plaza Sesamo on it for classic clips. What's weird though is that at random moments the channel will go black or just today it switched to public access for a few minutes.
It appears that Grover and the Inflating G, A 2 Headed Monster Skit, Steve's first performance as Ernie, and The 1812 Overture clip from Muppets: A Celebration of 30 years
They play it on MC Radio but the record version and the TV version are slightly different. The record version's music is a little different and uses some of the same samples as "Bus Stop", whereas the TV Version is a little more upbeat and kind of goes with the fast ride of a subway. And...
Something interesting I noticed on Plaza Sesamo (the Mexican Sesame Street), was they played a part of Canadian Sesame Street in Spanish. It had Basil learning to tie his shoes. I think Katie was teaching him. It was kind of weird to see an alternative Sesame skit within an alternate Sesame...
This is kind of funny. The National Assocation of W Lovers was actually sampled in an old Eminem song (The beginning of the song has Bert saying "All right settle down. Ahem!!"). Another rap song samples the skit where Bert is sick and Ernie says "you must know who's sick!". the song was called...
is it my imagination, or is the tv version of this song more faster-paced than the record version? i seem to remember the record version sounding slower when i heard it on mcr.
