You know those discount bins at Walmart where you usually find lesser-known, box-office-flops, obscure, etc movies that are on DVD ranging anywhere between $1 - $6? Ever notice from time to time you'll see movies in there that you don't understand why they're in that bin to begin with?

I'm surprised that I'm surprised at Cartoon Network doing their own reality series.
How could I not see this coming? It's a wonder it didn't happen sooner.
Makes me glad I don't watch CN anymore.
After watching the 40 Years DVD set, and seeing they used the celebrity version of "Put Down the Ducky", but not "Monster in the Mirror" got me to thinking... when was the last time we've been treated to a celebrity version of a beloved SST song?
I know for Season 35, they did a celebrity...
I was always under the suspicion that it was warmer/hotter down here longer than it was cooler/colder, so starting January 1 of last year, each day I would make note of the weather, and for any days where the official high of the day was of 69 or below, the calendar day would be left blank...
WELL THE H E L L HAVE YOU BEEN-ISH? !
We all miss you around here! ! !
BTW, if you ever read this... was that you who was acting all secretive with me on YouTube last year over my Steve D'Monster shout out video?
During the early 70s and such, a lot of the Muppet characters on SST evolved on the show, but that was to be expected, as the characters were new then, and the show was (and still is) an experiment in the works; not to mention I'm sure over the time, Jim and his crew were testing different...
Like Kevin and his Muley thread, this is my thread for various upcoming projects I will be working on (and because I know most of you guys don't follow me on MySpace, so how else are you going to know if you're even remotely interested?).
Anyway, since finances have been tied up into...
Just got to thinking about a movie I liked when I was a kid, but I don't believe anyone else is remotely familiar with it...
Don Bluth gave us some of the most wonderful animated features of their time - where most animated films of that time were mostly happy, silly, bright and zany, Bluth's...
The paper reported today that a tenant at the apartment complex we used to live at got shot and killed, and before we left, another tenant was telling my parents that one night he was robbed at gunpoint in the complex as well.
On top of that, it's almost as if anymore, there's some kind of...
Maybe it's because of the Grinch, but it seems to me that in the last couple of years or so, it seems as if Dr. Seuss specials, in general, are associated with Christmas...
For example, last year during ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas programming, they aired a few Dr. Seuss specials...
And I DON'T mean that the way it sounds...
What I mean, has there ever been a special moment in your life as a puppeteer where you really felt like you knew you were not only doing your job, but were doing a GOOD job at that?
For me, it's just knowing that I have the ability to bring...
We have threads like "Best Movie Ever", "Worst Movie Ever", "Creepiest Movie Ever", etc... but with it being the holiday season, we need a thread for favorite holiday movies.
I'ma start with a lesser-known gem - has anyone ever seen On the Second Day of Christmas with Mary Stuart Masterson...
I was going through a box of mine, and I happened to rediscover my old Polaroid instant camera in it, and I figured this would be a good way to take progress photos of my puppets as they're completed - it would be quick and easy, I wouldn't have to wait for the film to develop, let alone have to...
I still have my old VHS of Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, so if I had a DVD, I'd be able to do this myself, but I don't, so I was wondering if anyone else who had this special on DVD could screencap a scene for me...
I'd like a screencap of Big Bird, shortly after he stepped up on the roof...

Now... these aren't available in stores because... ?
BTW, isn't it fascinating how quickly Nick switched to its new logo for merchandising like this, but it took Cartoon Network nearly two years to change their...
