Even though it's already been a couple of years since the Fix-it-Shop was relocated from it's original suite in the tenament building on the street and replaced with Leela's laundromat, while at the same time Hooper's was modernized into a convenient store... I just now realized something...
I knew that this one was coming, I just wasn't sure exactly when; but at any rate, here's Big Bird and Murray appearing in today's strip of IDGet...

I still see both of you around here from time to time, but it seems only Pino still posts, while BG simply lurks anymore.
At any rate, happy birthday to the both of ya!
My mother's wanting to have a bunch of business cards printed up for me, but for something like this, I don't know if that would work well...
I mean, did Jim use business cards back in his day? What about Sid and Marty Krofft?
You know all of 'em, you've loved some of 'em, you've even been scared by some of 'em... but how can you possibly end a show or a movie without the production company's closing logo?
And what a weird thing to be a fan or, I know, but hey, apparently some of us exist, lol.
If you ask me, I...
I haven't been around as long as many, but I've been around long enough to remember back in the old days whenever people got married, the bride almost always took their husband's last (sur) name (who came up with "surname" and when?), but I have noticed in recent years (or I guess recent decades...
This seems to have puzzled a few fans for a while, so maybe someone out there might be able to help and identify this bit...
In the "I'm a Little Airplane" song, there's a brief clip of Elmo flying through the air, with an orange paper hat on his head. I made sure I double-checked and didn't...
I was browsing through fabric.com's selection of various fabrics to see if I might find anything I might like to use in the future for puppets and such, and I came across a selection of fabric called Minky Muchie - it's a rather short, and rather fine fur that looked a lot like the fur that was...
Amongst all the mayhem regarding Brittany Murphy's death, I heard on Inside Edition that a sequel to Happy Feet was in the works, but she was fired from reprising her role due to the drug rumors that were being circulated.
So... how would that work, honestly? Once again, I don't see Happy...

We've seen plenty of Muppet references with IDGet in the past, but I believe this is the first time Kevin (not Williams) has done a FR reference in the comic.

I just happened to stumble upon this by accident, while doing a Google image search for Jim... I think it's rather nicely done, and somewhat bittersweet and poignant.
I was just rewatching the classic skit where Ernie and Bert are searching the jungle for Dr. Livingston, to which Ernie asks him his very important question which turns out to be "What's up, doc?" like Bugs Bunny... even Bert thought that was funny, as the doc moaned "This jungle's full of...
Anybody else just love this guy's work?
When it comes to memorable movie scores, his work always comes to my mind, I really dig how his scores almost always have a jazzy, toe-tapping undertone to it, especially in family movies. But then again, sometimes jazz plays a big part in the score...
I remember from "The Best of Ernie and Bert" tape, when Gina is looking through Ernie and Bert's scrapbook with Big Bird and Ernestine, she remarks that Ernie and Bert in Egypt visiting the pyramids was her favorite moment of theirs.
I can't help but wonder if that might have also be Alison...
You know 'em and love 'em... age-old plots that get used over and over and over and voer and erov and vero and rove and oerv and eorv and veor and ovre and orev and over again to the point that no matter what the situation or what the characters or even what the franchise is that pretty much...
When you're a little kids, surely you believe just about everything on Sesame Street was real, and that Sesame Street was a real place... those are a given that we were learn the truth of later in life.
I'm talking about petty details that you learned about that disappointed you a bit, ala...
I'm aware that INC is short of incorporated and CORP is short for corporation and what not, but what exactly does LLC stand for, and is it corporate-related as well?
I'm kind of surprised we don't already have a thread for Peanuts - I looked, and found "your thoughts" type of threads on various Peanuts specials, but not a thread for Peanuts discussion in general... we must do something about that!
You know, I got to watching some of the old Peanuts movies...
