    Mumford plays trick on Oscar

Here's a skit I remember when I was a kid. Mumford was walking down Sesame Street and he spied Oscar practicing some grouch magic. First Oscar took a rag and said some nasty magic words and stinky weeds appeared. Then Oscar took out an empty shoebox, said those words again, and pulled out a...

    Helen Reddy on Sesame Street

I would've loved to see Helen singing on Sesame Street. But I remember the Muppet chicken singing that song. It was a cool song and I had no idea it was a Helen Reddy song also. :)

    Helen Reddy song?

Thank you Warrick for your info. I'll have to get that album after the holidays. :) And I also found out that song Helen sang on TMS was called, Blue. It was also sung by a blue camel in the Raggedy Ann and Andy movie. I've never heard such a beautiful song like it.

I remember a MS skit where Helen Reddy was in a recording booth singing a song that went like this. "How can you be happy? How can you be smiling? How can you be anything but low down, saggy, and blue?" Does anybody know the title of that song? I'd like to get a copy of that original...

    When Gonzo met Camilla

I was thinking this is how Gonzo met Camilla. Remember that At The Dance sketch when Gonzo wishes someone would dance with him? All sorts of girls, including Piggy, blew him off. Then he suddenly saw a chicken and fell in love and they danced so wild clearing the floor. I like to think...

    The Counting Circus Guy

I didn't really like how that ringmaster was always whipping everything. He whipped the seals, the finches, and even the poor fools. Whipping actual people isn't right!

    Communism

You know, Fraggle Rock and the Smurfs are kind of the same. Both creatures live in a society where they work without money.

    Avenue Q Question

The family I have is a Mom and Dad and sister. Sure, we like some adult humor like the Simpsons. I was just wondering if Avenue Q would be too much. Maybe if it one day ever appears on a video, I could watch it in the privacy of my home and judge for it myself.

    Alphabet Ace Questions

I haven't seen him yet on my new tapes, but if I do, I'll let you know. And I didn't know he was really called Alphabet Bates. I must've misheard it a long time ago.

    Avenue Q Question

I've heard so much neat things about the NY musical, Avenue Q. And I've seen a song from there on the Jerry Lewis telethon. And I'd like to go see it myself. But I heard it also has some adult themes in it. Does anyone know if it has mild-adult themes or is it way too shocking and offense...

    Alphabet Ace Questions

Sometimes, his plane would dump him and Alphabet Ace would parachute down onto the street and meet the gang. He was a live human with a mustache and was wearing a brown pilot suit with a matching flaps hat. And he would speak French. Whenever Ace landed on the street, the gang would ask what...

    Two Muppets named Gladys

I remember Richard Hunt performing 2 Gladyses. The first was Gladys the Cow from Sesame Street. The other Gladys was a cafeteria lady from the Muppet Show Theater. She had orange skin, lipstick, and white curly hair. And she was kind of sassy. When Gonzo had to leave to do an act...

    The Animal Show

I have all 65 Animal Show episodes on tape. But a couple of episodes have a few taping flaws though. I'm willing to trade these shows for anything that's rare on video. Mostly any TV shows, specials, or movies you can't find anymore. Check the bottom of my video trading page to see what...

    Best Muppet Babies Episode

I remember one episode when the babies overheard Nanny on the phone saying she had to get rid of one of them. The babies worried and wondered who was going to get thrown out into the cold. And they imagined how each one would make out on their own. Piggy imagined she'd become a powerful...

    After the credits

Does anyone remember when the Muppet Show first came on, it would say ITC Entertainment with funky music? And at the end, Zoot would blow his sax and the ITC logo would come back? But now it shows a new scene of Zoot blowing his sax with Jim Henson Productions after that. And even in...
