Sorry dude,
but that's a bit of a hot potato you've thrown there.
If you were to find a puppet maker willing to do it , you'd have to meet in a dark ,rainey, alley, under the cover of darkness.
I think kermit's is a good one.
where the tongue is on the edge of the uvula.
With the tongue overlapping it, it looks like the uvula is further back.
This is a comic layout thing, if you overlap stuf, you get the sense of depth of field. even though it's 2-D.
*Strings?..Bah!..doesn't seem right.I want something a little more reliable.
*Yeah, rude finger sticks up a little and moves the little lever thing (works great) up down, thus blinking the eyes.I tried having the one peice of wire but it didn't work, so I made an elbow in it so it moved...
This thread is kinda sick..but I can't help but read on...
When I fall over and stuff, I only end up with a bruised ego.
I've never broken a bone.
...well, ..not my own .
That!..What Iokitek said..that's what they used on Pinochio.
I agree, theres no heart behind that...that's probly why the movie bombed. :D
I guess, it was intended for like, theme parks and shop displays.
Theres no artistry behind it.
I didn't know much about Flat eric, so I did a bit of research on him a while back.Yeah the ads he did where pretty good . I have them all now, and my favourite is the stewed prunes one.
But just getting back to that vid on the london creature shop..I love the bit where digs says he has to go...
This is the second puppet I've made (the first being the happy chappy you see in my avatar) and decided to make his eyes blink.
Haven't made the body yet, but I just wanted to post him here anyway.
The blinking mechanism works beautifully, don't have to move any fingers around , works great ...
Jeeze man, It's tiny!!
..awsome stuff.
Like that hair you added in that first photo.. ;)
..Actually, have you thought about using hair for your sculptures?
Little bits of fake fur would look amazing on your stuff!
