I'm so bummed that I can't go to this event. :sympathy: But I hope everyone has fun at it, and definitely let's do a review of it on the podcast once the event happens.
This episode concludes the 4-part series on the Center for Puppetry Arts. It's been fun covering the Center and talking about all the great events that go on there, but this time the people from the Center get to talk about it! This show is sort of a long-form montage of voices from over a...
So far I seem to be in the minority in as far as my apathy for the idea, hehe. Frogboy4, I didn't even make that connection with Roger Rabbit, wow! Very perceptive :)
I just don't know if this is the project that brings Henson back into the feature film limelight. Then again, I don't know...
I've been seeing this for the past day or so. Henson has picked up a spec script for a new film where puppets are the victims in a murder mystery. If you haven't heard about it, read it here.
I guess I have two questions. 1) Do you want to hear much about this on The MuppetCast? and 2)...
In your opinion, mummytomb, since it seems like maybe you've kept an eye on this production, does it feel to you like these Puppet Up shows (and in general this period of "edgy puppetry" of the Henson Alternative brand) is all leading up to something? A "next big thing" for the Henson Company...
Ditto. I think what we all want for Mr. Nelson is just to stay, rested, healthy, and happy. We can never thank him enough for the work he's done over the span of his incredible career.
Hi, howya doin', welcome to The MuppetCast! This week's show was originally slated to be the conclusion of our 4-part miniseries on the Center for Puppetry Arts, but as I was researching some things over the past few days I became convinced that I had to change it over to something else...
I know. It's a little strange. Trust me, I've heard all kinds of stuff going on, but essentially I've pointed iTunes to a new location to look for shows. So it'll do that once, but then you should be okay.
Believe it or not, I've seen it split the feed on one computer, so essentially iTunes...
Okay, I think we're out of the woods with this whole iTunes mess. And quite a mess it was. If anyone wants all the technical details I'll happily explain it, but it'll suffice for now to say that I won't be using Feedburner anymore to supply the MuppetCast feed.
If at this point you aren't...
Yeah, it's being kind of a pain right now. Hopefully this will all be resolved by this time tomorrow. It would have to happen this week, when I'm talking about THE Brian Henson visiting the Center!
I don't know if I'm in the minority on this, but I didn't like this one any better than the first one. To me it's just not The Muppets. It's not the humor and tone that we all associate with the Muppet Show, or even Muppets Tonight.
Now having said that, I also realize that a) this is an...
If you're trying to get the most recent episode via iTunes, there's an issue that I'm working on right now. Sorry for the inconvenience! You can still listen to it on the website, at MuppetCast.com.
Hi everybody! I know it's really late on Monday night, but I just finished the show and posted it. I'll be back to chat more about it, but at this point I'm still kind of sick, plus I'm exhausted
So I'll be back tomorrow talk more about the episode, and to cover the Q&A section...
My special guest: Heather Henson!
Not much more needs to be said after that, but I'll see what I can do. Along with Heather, I've included some rare Sesame audio for everyone to enjoy while I was away in Atlanta, seeing Brian Henson at the Center for Puppetry Arts. He was great to see, and...
